Bargain price for great funky gospel CD. Not in the same league, nor as varied as the Soul Jazz brace, or the double CD comp that Ze Records put out - but enough goodies to warrant purchasing, whether you like 70s soul style dancers or deep soul/gospel ballads. The late, great Keith Barrow turns in a classic ("Everything's Gonna Be Alright") but really it's all good.

This double CD has some really cool and soulful gospel songs. There are a couple of weaker tracks so if you listen to the whole thing back to back then it can get a bit much. Best thing to do is rip it to your computer, create a play list of the best songs and go from there.

Briliant CD. Food for the soul. Nicely packaged. Arrived promptly. Some rare tracks that are hard to find. I love listening to this!

well you guys at harmless never fail to deliver quality music ! the value of the blues/soul/gospel on these tracks is not
diminished considering the age of these tracks. and these artists lived and worked in a state where black emancipation and
rights was not a foregone conclusion in the days of civil rights.excellent real music for real people. jazzg
