I am new to kindle so when I saw this on offer for free I downloaded it. After reading the whole book I am now more confident using my kindle and I know I will refer to it again and again. A great help, thank you.

Early days ,my wife is main user and she is finding it very useful-particularly looking at the available features beyond books, which will give her independence from our family computer.

Found this volume lacking in many respects, and eventually purchased another guide which I found extremely informative.
Would suggest the beginner looks at other volumes available

A very useful guide. However, although it gives clear instructions on how one may "lend" a book to another Kindle user for fourteen days, when I tried to do this I was informed that this facility is not available in the UK, only in the USA. Which begs the question, why are Amazon making it available to UK customers? I think this is seriously dishonest promotional material - possibly illegal? - and a clear breach of customer trust. I am therefore extremely disappointed and will be more than surprised if Amazon actually publish this review, which shows them up in the poorest of lights.

So much more practical and helpful than the e manual, I mastered my kindle in a couple of hours. It is so much more than a reading tool. I would recommend it to anyone over 50!

This book really helps you to understand your Kindle, I have not read all yet but so far have no complaints, shows you how to use short cuts and get the most out of your kindle.

Excellent book of instructions. Tells all that is required simply would prefer a "hard copy" on my desk! Will it be published in that format anytime soon?

This is a very comprehensive book and certainly helps one to understand the Kindle Fire. Would certainly recommend this to anyone who is a novice at these things.

This book really helped me to get more from the capabilities of my Kindle HD as a mini computer. Unfortunately it did not answer all my questions - I still cannot download Emails from my provider to the Kindle. Also Callibre which the author was very keen on did not seem to be compatible with Kindle (maybe a US/ UK difference ?). Most of the tips worked so it was a very helpful book which was both entertaining and informative. The Kindle HD is so much more than an E-reader, so it is useful to open up some of its possibilities.
