What is the Priory of Sion, and how long has it been around for? The author attempts to bring clarity to the Priory of Sion debate by examining all of the hypotheses and the facts in order to give the reader a feel for the political and ideological environment in France during the mid to late 20th Century. What I found most refreshing was the author's ability to allow the reader to make his or her own judgements on the accuracy of information and the validity of opinion of many of the characters in the Priory saga, as well as of the many authors who write about the subject. This is achieved by this author asking more questions and looking at the potential answers without pushing his or her own opinion or bias. The attention to detail makes this a rewarding and eye-opening read and I'd thoroughly recommend it.
