Food just DOES NOT STICK TO SILICONE
on 21 November 2013
I've been cooking with Silicone for a few years, now. I bake bread and used to grease the baking sheet and then dust it with flour but no longer. Five years ago, from Poundland, I purchased an A4 sheet of Silicone and then, the very next day after I'd used this sheet, a dozen more. Food just DOES NOT STICK to Silicone. I fry eggs on one of these sheets (no oil), Rolls and Buns, Southern Fried Chicken (again, no oil). From Poundland, a large mould I bake my Pizza's in. I purchased this product for the Cake and Bread Moulds and nothing else but I what I like the most about this purchase is the Spatula and Brush. These are a lot more flexible than their plastic counterparts that I've possessed for a score more years. A really wonderful product and sold by this purchaser at only a little more than half the price I would have paid from one of their competitors. A bit long to wait for its delivery. I had, actually, forgotten I had ordered the product (it took so long) and had to collect it from my local Sorting Office but that's OK because it made a nice walk for my Dog and I and I'm really, really pleased with the product now I possess it.
Nothing to do with this product and I've already mentioned on the correct seller's page what I'm about to mention again. From another seller I purchased Silicone cooking Tongs. Probably a wonderful product for any able bodied person but for an Arthritic elder person such as I, purchasing a set of Tongs where the food slides off these Tongs with so much alacrity that unless the user is able to provide a firm grip to hold the food in place severely (which obviously I can't do), these Tongs are useless but that was my fault for purchasing them because, as I've previously stated, FOOD JUST DOES NOT STICK TO SILICONE and I've known that for years and years.
