Seemed ok at first (April) but metal clips have broken now (July) - I carry a fairly heavy Samsonite Laptop/Overnight bag and travel on fairly regular 3-4 day business trips with no other checked-in luggage - the Samsonite original strap lasted about 3 years, so this 3 months is a bit disappointing....the strap itself seems strong enough (if a little stretchy/bouncy)...but the cast metal clips attaching it to the bag seemed a little "weedy" - and so it proved, gave up the ghost on a transit train in Singapore. If they built it with a thicker gauge steel (like Samsonite do) I think it would be fine

I recently bought a (very good) Lowepro bag for my DSLR that holds just the camera and a fairly heavy 18-200mm lens. The strap was quite thin and, after carrying the bag for a week, I ended up with a pinched nerve in my neck for several weeks.

This strap is very well made, directly replaces the original strap and grips, without budging, on the shoulder rather than digging into my neck. After a recent holiday with a lot of walking and again carrying the camera, I had no ill effects thanks to this strap.

This strap looks robust; but, after you've caught your expensive camera, swinging away as the strap slithered around your neck, because the metal clasp had become detached from the camera-bag at one end (and this has happened twice) then you can begin to realise that even a metal clasp can be cheaply-made.
I've supplemented my Strap's attachment points, to my camera bag, with two of those 'pretend' alloy, miniature, carabiners.
I was pretty lucky not to lose my camera over a 200-foot sheer-drop.
My advice, then, if you're looking for a really good strap, is to keep-on looking.

My fishing seatbox is forever sliding off my shoulder on the way to the beach, usually when both hands are full of rods, tripod, bait pail etc, and it is impossible to keep adjusting it without continually stopping.
I came across the i-stay by accident on Amazon one day and thought it might just be the answer to this problem.
So, in use is it comfortable?............Yes
Does it stop the strap slipping?.......Yes
If I lost it would I buy another?.........Yes
In summary, it is a great product that really does what it is supposed to do.

I carry a lap top and lots of other kit in my work making it quite heavy and difficult to keep it on my shoulder. Not only does the strap not slip it helps spread the load as well.

The "i-stayput" shoulder bag strap is a good idea and it seems to have cured the problem I had with my lap top bag falling off my shoulder. I do not like to wear the bag across the body. I have however modified it slightly by painting out the graphics (advertising)
which appears twice. The strap was not inexpensive and I fail to see why I should become a walking signboard for the manufacturers.

Never watch Dragons Den but kudos the dragon that got behind this. I use it on my huge work bag which weighs in at 40 to 50 pounds some days and this strap copes with it with no problem. It feels great on my shoulder, never slips and is showing no sign of wear and tear despite living a rough life. Buy one and save your shoulder. Love the different colour options too.

Somehow I broke the metal catch on my camera bag strap the day before a family wedding. I thought I was going to have to buy a new camera bag. I then spotted this, it arrived promptly, in time for the ceremony and is absolutely perfect (apart from a slight colour mismatch but that's really picky) it doesn't slip off my shoulder and in my view is perfect..

This is a very high quality strap. I bought this to use with my bike pannier. My main criteria were for the strap to have metal clips and to look sturdy and up for a bit of a bashing.

The clips are very solid and well made. The strap material is like a normal laptop bag - manmade woven fibre but it looks great and feels very strong. The strap / non slip part is a great feature - you can easily sling your bag over one shoulder and it will happily stay there. The strap part is quite wide so the load is spread over your shoulder. The length of the strap is very adjustable so it should fit your bag and be able to be used over your body as well as on one shoulder.
