This review is from: Sullah's Child (The Inheritance of Slavery Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
This was the second in the tale of Sullah's life as a slave girl. The first book was superb and this one is even better! Patricia Burton brings the characters and the historic setting to life. I even shed a tear at the end (something I haven't done in a long while!).

My brother read the first in this series "Captive" and sang it's praises no end. He was right.... got this one as soon as it came out and it is at the next level again. Have no idea why we haven't heard more about this work ...it is absolutely brilliant.

This follow on to Captive takes the story back to England and examines the lives of rich and poor in the early 19th century.
I read it straight after captive and really enjoyed it. Anyone with an interest in this period plus a liking for a bit of romance should really enjoy it.
