Another great book from Smith. This is a page turning book, once you start to read it you will not be able to put it down. Amazing way to show what people are ready to do for the money, that they can kill their family and stop at nothing. Sotry is about PI Spellman, who finds himself in position to risk his life and save his family by finding a person who's family is planning to kill her.

If you like Smith's books, this will not disapoint you.

In other words looking forward the new book in this series!

I thought this book was excellent - a real page turner! Good storyline, great characters & lots of twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages. Christopher Smith is fast becoming one of my favourite authors and I have enjoyed all of his books. I can recommend the Fifth Avenue Series - brilliant read! I will now be looking out for the next Marty Spellman thriller which is due out later this year.

Do yourself a favour and read this book, you will not be disappointed, guaranteed. I try not to give 5 stars out too much but this book deserved each one of them. The plot to this story was very interesting and kept you guessing, then the ending was explosive but a little sad. Will look out for more from this author. Brilliant!

I've been working through this authors books and I do rather enjoy them. I like this type of flashy rich man / assassin story.
The books in this series are stand-alone, but have peripheral characters popping up.
It's a good fast-paced mystery which I thought was very enjoyable.

Can't wait to go on holiday to get stuck into this book. Looks really interesting and am hoping it will be as good as I expect it to be.

Up until now I have really enjoyed this series. Perhaps I've read them too closely together because I'm suffering from overkill. I don't have a problem with fictional violence, it is fictional after all, but what I found with this book was that "normal" people took to killing with such ease and aplomb. The two murderous teenagers who flipped from normal to psychotic with ease was not credible to me. Gave up I'm afraid, I'll move onto the next one after a break.

Could not believe it when he consulted a clairvoyant for help, palm to face. Spoiled it for me at this point. (Otherwise I would have rated this 4 star) There was suspense at end of chapters keeping you interested.
Feel there should be a warning as not everyone can swallow fantasy books.

I've been a fan of the author since the beginning, and this latest offering is arguably the best yet. A superby conceived plot, masterful writing and characters that one can quickly identify with..all the ingredients of an outstanding thriller. And believe me, this IS an outstanding thriller.
Chris is already up there with Crais, Flynn and Child, and if you've not discovered him yet, I really do suggest that you do..and quickly.
The next Spellman thriller will be ready next year and I, and many more I suspect, will be eagerly awaiting its arrival.
Thanks Chris...keep 'em comin'.
