I'll start off by saying this as this seems to be a massive flaw with the design of this punching bag stand as it seems confirmed in 2 of the comments I've read. One of the holes drilled on the back/bottom is incorrect and off by about 1cm(huge imo) so the screw won't completely go in(seems to go in about 50%.) Now the entire bag stand is solid but whenever you're punching with a little force, it'll clatter/bang(The bar moves) so it tends to get quite noisy...which seems to be quite an issue as this is a piece of equipment for the home, neighbors won't be pleased if they keep hearing, what sounds like 2 chains banging together every punch.
The instructions/handy tool kit they give are enough to get the job done, I needed to use pylers in order to grip some nuts/bolts in order to tighten it. Took about 2 hours but I tried rushing it, it should normally only take about 1 hour maximum. You 100% need to get bags on sand, 3x25kg bags(£6.00 total) are enough to keep it stable, getting weights don't seem cost effective as you would be spending more than £100 to get it solid.
