This review is from: My Dear Son: The Memoirs of Stalin's Mother (Kindle Single) (Kindle Edition)
The man of steel was a sickly child who grew up with a drunk for a father. His mother was made of sterner stuff, and fought for her child to get an education to get ahead. That he certainly did for good or ill, as history records. This memoir is a brief glimpse into the making of Stalin, but also Georgia's rich and largely unknown culture. Another excellent example of how Kindle Singles can delight and educate.
