A poor man's Mario Kart.

It is by no means bad, but just not 'great.
It is by no means bad, but Sega's franchises are not half as strong as what you would find in Nintendo's Smash Bros, which this is essentially the racing equivalent of. Half of the franchises have been dead for a long time (with good reason), and so there is no real excitement at unlocking most of the characters.
The rubber-banding is also atrocious. You could boost the entire way round and the enemies will keep up with you. Artificial difficulty at it's finest. And the voice acting is so cringe-worthy that I turned the volume off multiple times, but anyone familiar with modern Sonic games will be aware this is the norm.
If you have a DS/3DS and have Mario Kart, don't bother. IF however, you only have a Vita, then you could do a lot worse.
