Played to members of our Music Club and we all loved it. I have followed Russell's career since the beginning and he has never failed to impress, wether it is opera, ballads or ANTHEMS!

Quite agree that it`s a pity that Russell has not sung the National Anthem. Love all the other tracks and beautifully arranged especially the White Cliffs of Dover. Voice is as good as ever. A great album to celebrate the Jubilee. Well done Russell.

I bought this CD to send to my brother in Canada as he is very patriotic and thought he would love it for Christmas. I bought 2 copies, one for myself as well and have just listened to it. I thought some of the tracks did not even sound like Russell Watson and his voice did not seem as strong as normal. The tracks seemed 2nd class and not to even have a vocal rendition of the National Anthem, just a musical version was also a disappointment. I have other Russell Watson CD's and this is really not up to his usual standard.

I am delighted with this CD which contains such a great variety of songs and styles of singing. Whether classical or pop Russell sings each track with considerable aplomb and a great deal of feeling. I particularly like Calon Lan with the Fron Male Voice Choir, Danny Boy and the sweet and nostalgic duet of The White Cliffs of Dover with Dame Vera Lynn. An excellent selection of songs from the equally excellent Russell Watson. Good one Russell!

Thank you Russell for yet another wonderful CD to add to my collection. I love all the tracks, showing the versatility of "The Voice" but as a Scot living in Northern Ireland I am especially pleased that Danny Boy and Flower of Scotland were included.

I have always enjoyed listening to Russell Watson. He has a great voice and I admire him so much for overcoming such traumatic illnesses and continuing to sing and delight his many fans. He continues with his wonderful voice on "Anthems" - I particularly like his rendition of "Abide with Me" and "Danny Boy" but there were one or two disappointments about this particular CD. "Land of Hope and Glory" is not his own singing (I don't think he features at all in it) and, rather than recite Kipling's "If..." to the music of Elgar's Nimrod, why did he not sing "We shall win the Day" which he has performed brilliantly before. Overall, however, I would still recommend this item to Russell's fans.

Great to hear Russell Watson has not lost his amazing voice after all his health problems. This was as good as all his albums, very easy listening and uplifting, a real feel-good album!

Sorry for the late review. Great timing for the release of this one, also got 4 postcards again a UK Amazon special.

Pretty interesting album. Really enjoy Land of Hope and Glory (the musical opening seems a little weak).

Also have had a ton of fun cranking up God Save the Queen in my MINI Clubby at events.

A change of style for Russell Watson and I wasn't too sure about it at the first playing but I now enjoy every track and play the whole disc through each time.
My wife is the real RW fan but I am listening to him more than she is these days!
I would say this disc should be part of every Russell Watson fan's library!
