I was sceptical about such items for dogs particularly as I'm not convinced of the human yoghurts advertised in a similar manner. Anyway, my dog has odd stomach problems on and off and poo is fairly soft. A few days on these and the poo was a much better firmness and after a week there have been no "smells" or rumbling stomachs.

A friend at work has a 13 year old collie who sadly lost his friend recently, since then he has had a very poorly stomach, ended up on antibiotics. This helped him until the antibiotics ran out so I advised my friend to try these pills. He gave a couple on Friday night, by Saturday morning I had received a phonecall with my friend in an excited manner, "They've worked, they've worked" he declared. His dogs stools were solid and the dog much happier. Saved going back to the vets for the third time and hopefully can adjust the pill dosage down to prolong how long they last.

The packet and tub have all the information printed on them along with dosage. What I would say is a problem is the size. I have a large dog who is happy to take most pills, first time I chucked one of these at him he caught it in his mouth and then spat it out. He stared at it before eating it. These pills are about 1 cm long but half a cm wide, similar to some multivitamin pills for humans. I'm guessing small breeds would be really difficult if you can't cut the pills up. I can't find anything to say you can't do this.

My two dogs have had sensitive stomachs since they were puppies with many bouts of loose stools! I decided to give these tablets a try, not expecting much, but was really surprised that within a few days their stools were much firmer! Since then I have never looked back, I would highly recommend giving these a try!

Having had a dog suffering constantly suffering from IBS for 18 months and having tried other treatments without success including regular antibiotics from my Vet I had no great expectation that Yumpro would be any different but I was so wrong. Four months later and not one incidence of diarrhoea. She has gained weight and condition Also she is quite happy to chew the tablet so no struggling to get her to take it. Would highly recommend Yumpro for such conditions.

This product is absolutely wonderful, my dog has to have vet sensitive food as he kept getting hemorrhagic gastroenteritis . If i think his bowels are going to cause a problem he has a few days of these and problem solved. Brilliant product no dog owner should be without in doggy first aid box - great supplier and delivery too

My elderly labrador has cancer. She is in fact riddled with tumours. We have just discovered this and understandably i am quite upset. I asked the vet if it would be advisable to put her down, but he told me to let her live her end days with me at home, as it hasnt progressed to a terminal stage yet.

She is still quite a sprightly dog, even at 14 and She isnt ready to go yet though and is on medicines from the vet but they give her a dicky tummy.

I have been hiding these in her dog food and she has been taking them every day, they have in fact completely cleared up her funny tumy and she is having solid stools again.

I have found this helps her so will be buying more when these run out.

I think its one of those things you just try and see, luckliy with my dog, she took to it.

My dog is a rescue dog which I have had for about 6 months. She had been abandoned and left to starve and was very thin when I got her. Unfortunately it was difficult to feed her up as she appears to have a sensitive stomach and this was not helped by the fact she seems to be quite fussy about what she will eat. I found it very difficult to find a dog food that was easy on her stomach and that she also liked. I tried her on various dried dog foods and tinned foods and even got her an expensive dried dog food specifically for dogs with sensitive digestion. She didn't like this even when mixed with tuna or chicken. I thought I would give these Yumpro tablets a go. She has been taking them now for a couple of weeks and they do seem to have helped. I have now got her on a dried dog food which is hypoallergenic and wheat and gluten free which is supposed to be easy to digest. I give her a small amount of chicken with this together with some chicken stock. I mix the Yumpro tablets in with this and she is now eating well. She suffers much less from flatulence than she did previously - a definite bonus! It may be the case that I have simply finally got a dog food which suits her but I do think it is more than this. I definitely feel that the tablets have helped. The only con is the price as the tablets are quite expensive. She is currently taking 2 tablets per day. When the box runs out I will buy another packet and reduce the tablets to one a day and see if this is sufficient. I feel certain that I could buy a probiotic for myself cheaper than this, so why is a similar product for a dog more expensive? Nevertheless, if you have a dog with a sensitive stomach, these are worth a try.

My dog had terrible colitis until a long course of these tablets improved his condition considerably. He takes them readily.

I was told about these tablets by a friend. Her dog has colitis and she gives them to him. My dogs are always picking things up going round the park and eating them. This results in sloppy poos (not easy to pick up). Since giving them these tablets they have been fine. I started off on the recommended dose but now just give half of that as a supplement.

Our Chocolate Labrador has an issue, insofar that every time her food is changed to another brand she tends to get rather, erm, "windy", so it would be nice to find some method in which to alleviate this. When I discovered Yumpro I thought it would be at least worth a punt to see what would happen. Anything that could improve her digestion gets my vote.

The results seem rather promising, at least in these early stages of us giving her it (although getting her to swallow them isn't the easiest thing in the world). The unpleasant smells mentioned above seemed to have almost vanished, even after switching from her usual food to something else. By the time I've finished giving her the full pillbox I'm hoping that things should even be better. I just wish that she could tell me the results first hand, but I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation.

Recommended.
