The dictionary has a good word list. Each word is given several translations and the translations appear accurate.

On the minus side for English speakers, the Italian word has no gender indication and there is no indication for either the Italian or English which part of speech is being used. The translation for benefit for example gives you a list of nouns but no verb, nor is there a further entry for 'benefit' as a verb

There are no indicators to help you decide which Italian word of a list of translations to use.

There is also a problem with some of the entries, hyphens between words in the headings eg. bee-keeping, appear as unicode symbols although I soon found myself ignoring this.

Not the same standard as Nicolato's wonderful Italian English dictionary but I see this as useful to an Italian speaker who wants to read English text. Here, the long word list and accuracy will make this invaluable. English speakers with shallow pockets and a reasonable knowledge of Italian will find this useful to jog their memories when they need to look up a word.

For English speakers with a more basic knowledge of Italian I'd probably recommend the more costly and shorter Merriam-Webster English Italian dictionary rather than this one since the Merriam has most of the common words you'll want and useful usage tips.

The four stars are for Italian users, for English users I'd have to give this only 3.
