5.0 out of 5 stars TEACHING TIDYING? FANTASTIC BOOK HERE, 2 May 2012
My children love this book! Ellena the Elephant is a charming tale about a cheeky little elephant who refuses to tidy her room. We love the colourful illustrations as well as the funny places that Ellena's toys are hidden. If, like me, you struggle to get your little ones to tidy up - then this is the book for you. I have never understood how my children could tidy up toys at nursery & school but not at home. This book shares the message of tidying while offering up a great story as well. My son likes the page where Ellena has left all of her toys blocking the front door. My daughter thinks the ending is the best--she calls it an "elephant sandwich cuddle." As you can tell, it's been a hit with our family. Highly recommended to parents and grandparents hoping to motivate children to tidy their toys. This book is part of a good behaviour series that includes a teeth brushing book that my children love, Luc the Lion Learns Why it's Important to Brush his Teeth.
