I could not find my original Kipling 'holiday' bag so selected this as a slightly larger alternative. I chose the cerise pink which coincidentally goes with the Kipling wallet I have.
It is big enough to take most of my holiday bits and pieces - glasses case (plus separate sun glasses), wallet (biggish), driving licence, passport, headache tablets, tissues, comb, small notebook, pens, bits and pieces and best of all, a reasonable size of paperback - not a ginormous one, but just the right size to be a good read. And there might still be corners to add little things. I think I also got my pencil case in and if you didn't have the book you could probably get a small bottle of water in it.
The strap for attaching keys to is very useful and yes, there is room for a bunch of keys. And the handles are good - short grip handbag length handles and the strap for over the shoulder or across the body which is long enough and not too long.
But I did take the cuddly toy off - while it is 'cute', I am a grown woman and don't want a monkey hanging around. It was also getting in the way and liable to be eaten by the neighbour's dog or a teething child.
And a packet of polo mints. And without the paperback two small digital cameras.
