4.0 out of 5 stars Hmmm
The hmmm is for two reasons, the first is because I wonder why people like to read erotica but not to reveiw it. The second is because I'm not sure how to review this title either. Well I suppose that unlike a lot of victorian and earlier literally it is easy to read - a spade is called a space and not an 'amatory machine' or some other laughable euphamism and the pace...

3.0 out of 5 stars Shame about the editing
Of its genre it is not bad, but the poor grammar and spelling detract considerably from its otherwise reasonable content. A book purporting to be from the early 20th century should not encompass some many basic errors.

The hmmm is for two reasons, the first is because I wonder why people like to read erotica but not to reveiw it. The second is because I'm not sure how to review this title either. Well I suppose that unlike a lot of victorian and earlier literally it is easy to read - a spade is called a space and not an 'amatory machine' or some other laughable euphamism and the pace trips along nicely, like good erotica should, a little bit of plot before the next 'sexy bit' but, and here is where the hmm comes in, some of the 'sexy' bits weren't sexy, mainly because of the age of those taking part or the level of force being used. I understand that in the age it was written age is a different context and the children depicted are never forced into sex but for me these elements stopped me from fully enjoying about half the book. The rest of it was enjoyable, erotic and lively. So make your own mind up on that.

Two copies of the same book just different covers and layout . The childhood sexual activity may not be acceptable to some but this was Victorian times and was considered normal
