Chose this Fusion 5 based on feedback and have not been disappointed. Am due to be spending time travelling for work and staying in hotels and wanted a personal device that allows me to keep in touch with e-mail, face book, skype etc while also being able to entertain with movies, books and games at the touch of a button/screen. I have a basic android phone so am comfortable with the android platform and really can't warrant spending 3 times the amount on an i-pad. So i took the plunge with this one. Up and running straight out of the box (after an initial 6 hour charge), screen is responsive and everything is very intuitive especially if you are used to android. Seems well built, the dimensions of the Fusion 5 in portrait are taller and thinner than an i-pad (think giant mobile phone shape)it came with a free slip case and a screen protector already fitted. No headphones but i found at least 2 sets from old mobile phones that fitted and worked perfectly so probably just as well not have yet another set to clutter the place up. I've downloaded loads of apps including BBC i-player, without yet needing to install a micro sd card (although i have ordered a 32gb one). Only fly in the app ointment is that Sky have yet to update their Sky Go app to work with Android ICS but that's a Sky failing that customer demand will no doubt rectify soon enough if the forums are anything to go by! Comes with a mini USB adapter and plays my movies from my USB flash drive without any bother. Picture on video playback is superb - the screen ratio is wider than the i-pad giving the picture a "widescreen" look. Skype also works fine. Battery appears to run down fairly quickly to about 20% with almost continuous use but the last 20% seems to last almost as long as the first 80%. i have so far managed upwards of 4-5 hours continuous use with WiFi connected so would expect quite a bit more with WiFi turned off and am hoping battery life is still to reach optimum after a few more full charges.
Full charge (if powered down) achieved in just under 4 hours. Instructions were amusingly rubbish but i can't fault the service from A1CS - Arrived the 2nd working day after my order was placed and they replied to my request for clearer instructions straight away with a PDF manual. I have to say, having spent the weekend prior to it's arrival playing with a friend's i-pad, i really can't see why anyone would pay 3 times as much for an i pad over this tidy piece of kit. I know it's not an i-pad, and no doubt the geeky techs out there would argue specs 'til Christmas but seriously, it does what i want and i'm £250+ better off! Only problem i have now is how to get my Ninja Fruit addict husband to let me take it away from home with me!

I cannot recommend this seller highly enough. Have used this tablet regularly and just a couple of weeks ago the charger seemed to develop a fault (loose wiring the likely suspect but it has been used almost daily and stuffed in and out of bags while travelling the country). They sent me a replacement immediately without any quibble at all. First class after sales service.

I wanted a tablet without spending a fortune, the A1CS Fusion 5 is excellent.
The touch screen has the right sensitivity and the tablet is easy to use.
A1CS were excellent to deal with and dealt with my queries quickly and professionally.

Both product and supplier highly recommended.

Wow what a product. It's not often that I write reviews but this product (& company) are worth it.

I had been looking to buy a tablet for a good few months having done a lot of research and although I couldn't justify the need for spending over £400 on an ipad I was more than happy to buy a cheaper Android alternative. However, although there are many cheap android tablets out there none of them had a descent enough spec - until I found this one. HDMI, USB, audio connections, micro sd slot expandable upto 32gb. This tablet is quick, responsive, easy to set up & use over wi-fi, ample memory so lots of space to store apps etc, watching videos is clear with no lag. At £160 this is excellent value for money especially for a 10.1" display.

Finally, a quick mention for the company A1CS. Their company service is excellent. I contacted them with a few minor queries and they got back to me on both occasions within 24 hrs.

Very happy with this product and have hardly put it down.

Ordered the above item on the Thursday and it arrived on the Saturday, well packaged, as already mentioned by others, the instructions are very poor, and the charger did not work. On contacting the company through Amazon I had an immediate response from A1CS and downloaded understandable instruction, and within two days, a replacement charger. A good product from an excellent company, that really cares for their customers.

I purchased this tablet last week on the Tuesday and it was delivered on Saturday. Initially I had a problem with the touch screen being erratic however this was soon resolved after performing a factory reset. I emailed the seller and they were very quick to respond & keen to help me solve the problem so very impressed there.
The tablet comes with ice cream sandwich firmware which is the latest for android. In the box I also receied a pouch, charger, earphones, usb charger and usb adapter (although you can plug usb devices directly into the tablet).
I bought the tablet mainly to surf the web & for social networking around the house\garden as the laptop takes to long to boot up if you just want something quick. Also to take on holiday to read docs and watch films. The build in micro sd slot makes it perfect for this.
Only been using for 4 days but this tablet ticks all the boxes for me. Very happy with my purchase :-)

I bought this tablet for my wife, it was an alternative to a "Fruity" competitor as Android is just a nicer alternative in my opinion, and I have a thing about a certain company trying to dictate what I can and can't do!!!

So rant over, and let us look at the tablet..............

It is a great piece of kit, it does everything needed and more. It is a games machine, web browser and email device. It allows my Wife to ditch her PC and use the tablet with the children and also have it by her side as needed. Amazing how early you have to go on school runs these days..........

Now the support, we had an issue and spoke with A1CS, they insisted on calling me back, hello I thought this will be a never, never, but no it was INSTANT!!! We spent time on the phone and made a few changes to Android, not a Tablet issue an Android one, I played and A1CS called back as they said they would and when they said they would!! The Ice Cream Sandwich melted and AICS again swung into instant action and a new tablet arrived the next day. This was followed by a number of calls to check all was good!!!

Now I was in the IT business 20 Years, I have dealt with all the players from Dell to Compaq, and I HAVE NEVER seen service like this, the back up and support offered is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced, and in this day and age that is the most wonderful thing there can be.

I cannot praise these people enough, as I say the tablet is good, the support is stunning!!!

Hi to any portential buyer

Ordered this product very late saturday night and it arrived early wednesday morning.The moment I opened the box I was blown away.It was fully charged and ready to go.The connection to WI FI was so fast.

Started browsing straight away.Some many apps available to download.BBC Iplayer,ITV Player,skype,music channels,movie channel and whole lot more.All this apps have been tested and they are working perfectly.

Being an accounting student,this tablet was a godsend.I could download my pdf files easily,watch interactive lecture videos.All video qualities are superb.

The touch screen is smooth to the touch.You do not need a stylus or anything.Your fingers are magic enough.

I can go and on about this tablet................ Buy this product and you would not regret it.

And to let you now the customer service is absolutely absolutely one in a million.

I did considerable research into the purchase of a tablet for my 12 year old son and am very happy that the result was the Fusion 5 from A1CS. I considered both 7" and 10" tablet options and went large as the size and resolution offered by this tablet make both Internet browsing and playing games much easier. There are many 10" tablets avaliable, several of which are clearly the same basic model under a different name (as I think the Fusion 5 is, the Mate A10 appears to be the same and the tablets Manufacturer quality sticker actually says 'Longer Younger'). I chose the Fusion 5 as it apeared to have a good balance between size, performance and cost. Having used it for a week my son and I are very happy with the spec, the Allwinner 1.2MHz processor and Mali graphics chip are fast enough for all but the most advanced games (we have tried many titles including several complex 3D ones which all run very well, the most advanced ones still run but the frame rate does start to drop below acceptable levels). The screen is clear and bright, with good resolution and the capacitive touch response is also good, neither are at iPad levels but then neither is the price !. Android market/play is pre-loaded and works perfectly, I have only had 1 instance of an app failing to operate and I suspect that was down to the developer. Video and audio are both excellent with smooth playback and high quality but I have replaced the pre-loaded player with Realplayer as my son wasn't happy with the interface. Set up took a little while but only due to un-familiarity with ICS, wifi was easy to configure and the language, keyboard, lock screen settings were straight forward once you found them. Note that the supplied manual appears to be for Android 2.2 but i found an un-official ICS guide on Tablet Republic - search for Android ICS 4.0 User guide. Build quality is also good, I read many reviews of other tablets that talked of flexing and general poor fit and finish, there is none of that with the Fusion 5. It's no looker but it feels suitably weighty and solid in your hand. My son is blown away by it, he had wanted an iPad like his Dad but is more than happy with the Fusion 5. His twin brother is also impressed to the point that he is using his own pocket money to buy one !. I must mention A1CS as my research led me to conclude that there are a lot of China based importers providing Android tablets of varying quality and sometimes poor customer service. This led me to A1CS who have been excellent, they respond to email queries quickly and delivery was 3 days from order. Overall I strongly recommend both the Fusion 5 and A1CS.

I must say I was a bit concerned to be buying a Chinese product having been to the country a few times as they are a country of copies. This is NOT a copy. It is a well built and excellent performing tablet. It arrived very well packed and caused a few raised eyebrows from those at work who thought I'd brought a pup. All that other reviewers have said is true. Skype is very good; BBC I player is a joy to watch. You can do a little business on it too. No lags that I have noticed. Had and issue with a couple of apps that the people at A1CS solved promptly. Good customer service is something that is often over looked. If you have seen the Aldi adverts; then this is the same. I-Pads are good; these are good too and 1/3 of the price. Totally recommend

I have had this tablet pc for almost a week and I can say that it is a great bit of kit. The screen is bright and responsive the build quality is solid and set up with wifi could not be easier. For anyone wanting a good tablet but like me not prepaired to pay i pad prices then this is the one for you.
