purchased this on a bit of a whim having enjoyed his outings with the Eagles and his greatest hits from yesteryear. - well this is as strong as anything in his earlier catalogue - great guitar riffs, intelligent and thoughtful lyrics - a real good listen.Only one criticism - only ten songs and not twenty

One of the champions of '70s Rock, Joe Walsh has "come back" on record for old and new fans.

I never bought many James Gang back when albums were albums - and I had fun money...
But this new one easily attaches to that long list of familiar titles - not an experimental deal or a mess of outtakes for the afficionado.

Walsh must be commended for digging out an old, old tape of a jam with Little Richard, made in Ohio in early 1971. For Richard fans especially, this is a chunka gold. Rolling Stone magazine did a long article right afterward, about a mysterious get-together with Joe and Richard, resulting in a real new song, given the unofficial title of I TRIED in the write-up (and soon after receiving a copyright registration number for BUT I TRY).

Joe reports he found the tapes amongst miscellaneous recorded artifacts - indeed, this Reviewer leaned that the record company had no record of said record! Suffice to say.....here it is! And it's a great rocker, with Richard at the top of his form. Another guy plays the piano but The King's voice is exceptionally strong and the band is no nonsense rock n funk. A good time should have been had by all -for radio listeners and for the principals, nodding affirmatively at a Billboard Pop placement - but we all know about those wonderful coulda-shouldas, especially in this art form!

Haven't gotten to the DVD included...but the fourstars stands as I've seen bits and pieces over the net.
