This is a very short book, more of a pamphlet, containing very little that a UK drinker of French wine interested enough to buy a book wouldn't already know. There's very little on vintages and nothing on wine from regions other than Bordeaux, Rhone and Burgundy.

Maps of regions very interesting.
All about French wine of course so tends to loose some appeal when you have your own favorites outside France and they compare better.
This is good for understanding the areas and where they are. Labels then mean more to you if you can remember the details.
