5.0 out of 5 stars Very enjoyable.
I'm strictly a night time reader, sometimes 10-15 mins and I'm putting a book down to sleep. Not with Genesis, finished this within a week and realy enjoyed it. So much so I am looking forward to the second in the series, as this book left me with the feeling of seperate threads starting to come together and the promise of bigger things to come.

3.0 out of 5 stars What is it about?
I was enjoying the story, although the descriptive passages went on a bit, when the story suddenly ended with "to be continued in...Devil's Temple". As this book does not appear to be in the Kindle library, I will never know the end. Still, it was free.

Numerous errors distracted me throughout. Whoever proofread it should be sacked. Sounds like a Google translation in many areas. Disappointing.

This book catches the attention from the first page and holds on throughout. The story starts in Scotland but we soon head over to the Vatican City where we meet Francesca at the internal audit office.Problems with the servers means a busy time for Francesca and her team and most of this book involves this particular part of the storyline.I liked my trip into the catacombs underneath the Vatican which made me think i would like to visit one day(in company of course).
So why a tease? As we get near to the end of the book we head back over to Scotland and as things start to come together the book finishes.Just like that.To find out what happens next or what the relic is we have to get the next book'Devils Temple'.
I enjoyed the style of writing, the storyline revolving around The Vatican and the overall feel of the book but i felt let down. It's as if the book just ended.I intend getting the'Devils Temple' because i enjoyed this book but where i would have given 5* i took a 1* off for the frustrating ending.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother, 16 April 2013
This review is from: GENESIS (Gods Chain Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
A perfect reason why you shouldn't bother with a book that is part of a series. Too many questions and no answers. Not even a decent story to make it worthwhile.

Poorly written with bad use of English and a lack of adjectives you will need more than an imagination to visualise this book and story. Three days if my life I won't get back. The only consolation is that it was free.
