Same fault as others, Green power light and backlight only fault, No other response from TV. On a positive note, Toshiba and Amazon were very helpful when contacted for refund.

Nice looking tv ,but is very slow and if you leave tv for a while it keeps switching off .not very good value for money ,other tv out there at better value

Got sold lcd not led version very disapointed then was told there were no more led ones left when i asked for an exchange

This item appears to be okay so far. The vision is slightly impaired when viewed from a slightly different angle.

I first purchased this set in October 2012. Freeview did not work and it had to be replaced. The replacement came damaged, I had to replace it. Then I had relatively acceptable service until yet again, Freeview packed up. The handbook is utterly useless and I defy anyone other than a practised person to get the thing set up and working using only the information contained therein. It is very nearly impossible to use he 3D facility without losing patience. We gave up. Once again, the handbook was useless. To change channels requires a pause of anything between 10 and 20 seconds. I have always had great faith in Toshiba products but this takes the biscuit. I wish I had never bought the thing and I shall never buy another Toshiba product. I cannot believe just how unhelpful your so called help service has proved to be.

never seen 3d like this excelent pictue good value for price recormend it 10 out of 10.not much choice of 3d films

I wouldn't bother with this TV . I got one but returned it as the picture quality wasn't that good , it wasn't too bad on HD content but the SD was just terrible , i phoned Toshiba and ask if there was some better picture settings but they said no and to just return it ?
The 'smart' features were poor compared to what else you can get for the same price.
Also , an annoying thing (for me anyway) was how long it took to turn on when you press power on the remote , took ages !
My advice would be to go for the LG 47LM620T about the same price but SO much better , i'm really happy i returned this Toshiba to get this

the description page says "Cloth for cleaning" is included in the package, but I can't find it anywhere, then I contacted Amazon customer service and they offered me a refund for the missing cloth, still not very happy.

now back to the review, to be honest judder (frame skip/laggy) is noticeable while playing Bluray movies on this 40' LED, I read 2 reviews of this TV and both of them mentioned that this TV (TL series) doesn't support 1080P/24P playback very well.
