I thought it only fair to give an accurate review of this DVD as two of the reviews were put on before it was even released. How can these be fair, people looking to buy it are swayed by speculation and assumptions. Rant over!
This DVD fully captures the emotion of a Six Nations campaign that left everybody thoroughly satisfied. It covers the build up to the tournament and speaks to the key players and staff as they follow on from the World Cup to the training camps in Poland.
The match coverage is good as all the footage comes from the BBC and there are plenty of replays and slow motion recaps. There is ample of opinion and post match reaction from the players after each match to keep people happy.
Some people are critical of the fact it doesn't have the entire matches. I don't think this is a problem. The Scotland match was 3-3 at half time and not a lot happened in the first half to report on. All the relevant bits are here.
Some of the pre-match patriotism is lost and the atmosphere in the ground has been slightly muted but for anyone that watched the matches live, this will more than rekindle those emotions on the day. This is why it only gets 4/5 but you can be sure I am actually reviewing something I have watched. Yes, it could be more comprehensive but it certainly bought back happy memories.

Having sat all through the Boys 2012 6 nations campaign, some of which was sat on the edge of the sofa counting down the dying minutes of some of the games I have to say that this DVD set captures the highs and the lows of this Grand Slam.

OK, so we don't get the full matches, but having seen them all when they happened there is more than enough to be able to relive the memories of each game. Also good to see that they dark moments are not air brushed out. Bradley Davis tip tackle on Donnacha Ryan in the Ireland game, Priestland's yellow and Halfpenny's (which I saw as I was there, and straight away knew that he was heading for the bin for that!) are all in there, as well as the tension of Strettle's non-try at Twickenham (one I thought might just have been given to be honest from what I saw!)

You get the joys of watching Welsh rugby at it's best working that ball slowly all the way down field, the obvious euphoria at the (so far) unique Triple Crown win when playing away at 'HQ' and the tension of that battling match against France...

The highlights as well as intelligent comments from Warren Gattlan, George North, Leigh Halfpenny and Sam 'The Captain' Warburton before and after each match.

I would say a must have for any Welsh fan who wishes to remember the 2012 campaign, and certainly a good watch for any rugby fan. A worth addition to any collection!

I bought this as a gift for my father, who would watch rugby all day if he could, and have received excellent reviews from this veteran rugby player/viewer!

A fantastic souvenir of a down to earth bunch of young men who returned heartbroken from the 2011 rugby world cup with their humble captain Sam Warburton.
The grand slam was a tribute to their work ethic and this dvd shows it all, from the last minute win in Dublin, to their grand slam triumph against the French in cardiff.
A great momento and tribute to these boys in red who brought pride and decency back into the welsh shirt.
Picture quality and sound are excellent.

Now there's two ways of reviewing this: a) 5 stars if youe are welsh or b) 1 star if you'r not.
Either way it's history now, but it's still a nice reminder of a good tournament.

Good interviews between the match highlights. The highlights would have been better with a clock showing the game time. The whole of the last match is there.
