5.0 out of 5 stars American nostalgia and realism, 5 Nov 2012
Sussman "Sussman" (London CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Blue Jeans [7" VINYL] (Vinyl)
This single has a fantastic chorus' tragic promise of, "I will love you til the end of time, I would wait a million years." True to form this artist exhibits a somewhat formulaic approach of American nostalgia and realism, with the reference to James Dean as a thematic love interest shown through longing and heartbreak. She ever so resourceful in her use in stylistically presentation of retro-noir. This not just contained within the song but music video where imagery is ever present in this piece. This is a truly haunting song - that got me hooked the first time heard it. Well worth a 5 star rating.
