This is Canadian-born DJ Datsik's first full-length album and it does not disappoint. The sound is largely generic dubstep, you know what to expect, but the production values means that even on repeated listens you are still picking up on different themes that repeat throughout the tracks.

Stand-out tracks have to be Annihiliate, Bonafide Hustler, Evilution & Need you, the album does tail off in quality towards the end. A lot of the tracks are very grimy, with industrial-style-noise being thrown over synthy electronic beats, but always with an infectious treble hook - standard, but incredibly acoustically pleasing. If Dub-step or grime is your thing then look no further; a quality album from the scene across the pond. Recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars HARD AS NAILS., 3 Dec. 2012

Not quite as hard as Excision, who Datsik has a certain amount of similarity to, but without a doubt something to get hold of if you like the US/Canadian dubstep scene which tends to be a little different to our UK stlye. It's all here, skull crushing bass, huge drums, good hooks, great production, and some strong guest performances from the likes of Jon Davis from Korn. If you think Skrillex is maybe a bit to commercial ( still good though ) then try this.
