This book starts well for the lay reader, but at one point uses terms and symbols that have not been introduced and are offputting. The book doesn't quite live up to its title, but is nevertheless worth reading.

The author F J Ayala, conflicted and wrong when discussing 'religion' and 'science'.
Why wasn't Richard Dawkins, Ethologist, Evolutionary biologist, and Writer, asked to undertake this task? Perhaps because he was on the wrong side of the Atlantic?
A zero star for this awful book - a waste of my money!

supposed to be for the layman but conceivably to be made even easier to read on a subject that interests me personally
you can read it in small bits and leave yourself feeling underwhelmed or saying to yourself what the heck did i just read i need to read that again
isnt the point to enjoy what you are reading or is it just me
