Batteries dont hold their charge
on 7 January 2014
Bought these for husbands fishing light, fully charged on Thursday evening, went to use them on Saturday night and they wouldn't power the light up to full beam apparently lost their charge between Thursday and Saturday. Also contacted the seller who suggested charging them up again which I did today, all 4 had green lights on after about 6 hrs, removed them from charger mid afternoon and put them back in again at 6pm ,3 of the lights were flashing red which according to the instructions indicates a faulty battery!!!. having checked the instructions it states that the batteries have a 3yr guarantee so checked out the website but cant see anywhere to find out about warranty, frustrated. my husband is reluctant to trust these batteries now as he was fishing on a beach the other night alone and luckily he had taken 4 spare Duracell batteries to power the light. When we e-mailed the seller he said these batteries weren't being made in the uk anymore so we seem to be at a dead end. We have used the charger to charge some Uniross batteries that were bought about 4 yrs ago and they charged fine and held their charge so I think we have been unlucky and got a dodgy set.
