I bought this for my husband who is an avid RL fan. He read it in a very short space of time and found it a fascinating read. He could identify every single player featured in the book.
An ideal present for the slightly older RL fan.

Great RL players, great characters, superb stories.
Having both played and watched the game throughout the 70's and 80's it is wonderful to hear such great names again.
These guys did it for the sheer love of the game and most of them carry the scars and injuries to this day.
Men who were never paid much money and ha to fit the game in with their day-to-day jobs.
A great read and a genuine trip down memory lane.
Fabulous nostalgia !!

Enjoyed catching up with some long lost heroes. Would have preferred a little more depth, but RL players are very modest and humble about themselves (apart from Offiah)

A bit dated now, but still an interesting read for those who watched the game seriously during the 70s, 80s & 90's.
