5.0 out of 5 stars Political corruption rips Nebraska !, 19 Feb 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Franklin Cover-Up (Paperback)
Anyone who still thought Nebraska was a safe place, in the 1980s, will quickly learn such was not the case. This book exposes so many community pillars that whenever anyone asks THE OMAHA WORLD-HERALD about the book, those employees get very uptight....and very quickly! Serves 'em right.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chilling tale of unpunished atrocities in the heart of theUS, 24 May 2004
This review is from: The Franklin Cover-Up (Paperback)
Several people I know started this book and could not finish it, the actions described in it being so inconceivably cruel that they could not bear to go further.
I read it almost in one sitting, and this is the most trying reading experience I have ever gone through. I felt physically sick, and am only slowly recovering from the shock.
Extremely skeptical by nature, I grudgingly started to read it, expecting an overly emotional and anecdotical story, which, as sincere as it might be, wouldn't prove its point and would keep me wondering whether there wasn't another side to the story.
What I found instead was an extraordinarily powerful, painstakingly documented account, whose ability to stick to facts and present the evidence in a clear and balanced way is its most deadly weapon.
The events in question, a mix of corruption, depravity, ritualistic child abuse and murder, among other things, are beyond what most of us imagine can be perpetrated by "normal" human beings.
The involvement of officials in such acts and in the coverup, as well as the failure of the justice system at all levels is so unbelievable it ought to make anyone ashamed of our government.
The implication of the highest ranking state and national political figures, and their willingness to lie, manipulate, and murder in order to prevent embarrassing truths from becoming public and preserve "the system" will be chilling even to the most dedicated supporters of the American government.
Yet John Decamp makes a very potent case that they are true.
And considering the nature of the facts divulged in this book, the mere fact that no one has sued him, or made an even reasonably convincing counterargument against him after he published his book is the best proof that he's right on most or all accounts. (I searched on the internet for such arguments, and could find no actual refutation of the facts exposed, just a few rhetorical and inflamed comments with no substance)
As Americans are debating around the issues of war atrocities, and try to come to terms with the fact ordinary people can become torturers and assassins given the the right environment, this is a timely reminder that the extreme circumstances of faraway wars are not the only ones in which "civilized" humans can be led to act with the most abject cruelty. The ordinary setting of everyday America is quite good enough. All you need is influence, power, or the assent/tolerance of those who have power.
Not a pretty picture of American democracy in action. Yet, this same democracy does make it possible for you to get this book and read it (at least I hope, for my own sake...).
So while this book will not make you happy, it is indispensable you read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars It is all true., 8 July 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Franklin Cover-Up (Paperback)
I helped investigative this case and, unfortunately, everything in the book is true. I hope that someday justice will be done. For now, however, those of us whose lives were involved in the investigation of this case will still have to accept that,"'They were too big, and we were too small."

5.0 out of 5 stars a true nightmare, 8 Nov 2010
This review is from: The Franklin Cover-Up (Paperback)
I watched the documentary, 'A conspiracy of silence' first, then read about the case online, then the book. I was shocked too hear about victims/witnesses from the film who who had died only a few years ago, after his brother had died, both in strange situations, one playing with a gun, one running into a hospital with this book shouting for help, he was found dead the next day.

These politicians in this story are on the news telling us what to do - but the story was censored by the senate- the news is just their press release then?

This book is hard too read, but the truth is hard to ignore, so you keep reading, the only way to stop, is to go into denial.

I new of course that there were certain amounts of corruption and abuse, in the US and everywhere, but I never understood this satanic cult and the link to child abuse and politicians before. This book shows these things are real, and are still going on whether we understand them or not, I accept these sick things are happening, but it is a very complex system the elite use to keep it going.

It sounds incredible, but it just gets worse and worse. The book and docu both read like a bad film, but when you've heard the people talking, and seen the evidence, you don't want it too be true, but why is a victim/witness put in jail for 9 - 25 years as a young girl?

This man that continues on with the case,(the author)writes this too protect his family , as the man who advised him too, ,who you see in the film, former cia director Colby advises, 'once you say what you know youre no longer a threat' The man who says that ends up dead as well, its like a nightmare.

All this so some politicians can have perverted sex.
Thank whoever for the internet, and John de camp who wrote the book, and the brave people who died for coming forward and telling the truth.

This will never be reported in newspapers naming the people concerned and you wont hear it on the 10 o clock news. But some people who committed these crimes and who help conceal them from the public are on the news telling us what to do...it makes me wonder what the point of the news is anymore?

5.0 out of 5 stars Shocking, 9 Mar 2007

Having read a number of what you might call 'controversial' books on politics and the powers behind politics, this book didn't suprise me in the slightest. However, saying that, I didn't know a whole lot about the franklin case and so I am glad I read the book. It is a very sad story and will no doubt shake the very foundations of what the average person believes. This is a must read if you want to begin to understand the world you live in.

God Bless you, John DeCamp!

5.0 out of 5 stars Franklin Cover-Up, 13 Dec 2012

This review is from: The Franklin Cover-Up (Paperback)
This book should be required reading for anyone in college, and anyone interested in learning just how rotten, corrupt and indeed Satanic our 'leaders' really are; two more books that should be 'required reading for exactly the same reason are 'Trance Formation of America' & 'Access Denied' by Cathy O'Brien & Mark Phillips.
These books will shock you to the core, but like the associated videos, they name VIP's including ex-Presidents Gerald Ford, GHW Bush, Bill Clinton (& Hillary), Trudeau (Canada) and many other VIP's as being involved in the most horrific abuse, sexual and physical.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding! Outrageous, 16 May 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Franklin Cover-Up (Paperback)
You better buy a copy of this book and stash it away somewhere. If Kerrey runs for president, they'll try and burn it before the press gets a hold of it. It is almost impossible to comprehend some of the material in here. I said comprehend, not believe. Read it. It will open your eyes.
