bought this on advice from physio for tennis elbow. it was perfect, eased my pain considerably. easy enough to fit and wear and comfortable enough to wear for a 12 hour shift. after using this for several weeks and 5 sessions of physio i am now fully recovered. price is reasonable compared to similar products and service was excellent. make sure you purchase correct size otherwise you wont benefit properly, its discreet enough. some people think its an ipod im wearing!

Ordered this previously and it worked wonders; cleared up my tennis elbow in a matter of days while allowing me to continue weight-training. Excellent product. Have recommended it to many more sufferers in my gym.

The trouble with tennis elbow is the forearm itself. Once inflammation sets in there is just nowhere for it to go. You end up in a vicious circle and you can be stuck with this chronic, often debilitating condition for months! Of all the months I spent dealing with, and analysing this condition (considering the great diversity of products out there) I found only a few simple treatment methods to be the cure.

This is one of the few available products out there that actually makes scientific sense in terms of the rehab of tennis elbow (epicondylitis). Designed to raise the skin over the forearm just below head of radius to create space (or a cavity if you will) for the inflammation to release.

Another view... If you look at tennis elbow as a sort of tendonitis, have a look how you would treat any other tendonitis. For example patellar tendonitis, you buy a patellar strap which applies a mild pressure to the tendon, evoking the stretch reflex to relax the tendon thus assisting in the release of inflammation. Exactly what I did, I put my Neo-G patellar strap around the offending tendon and it actually helped.

Don't get me wrong these are not a be all an end all. You still need consistent deep tissue/ directional massage and ice therapy to help release the scar tissue and inflammation but this clasp and/ or a patellar strap of sorts will help you through some of those tough days. The inside of the clasp is slightly itchy but it's not a big deal.

I know everybody is different but I hope my experience will help someone out there. Good luck!

This has clearly worked for others but I found it uncomfortable, it didn't help my symptoms much and the elbow was more sore when I took it off. It could have been that I was using it incorrectly but hard to tell since it came with no instructions. In the end, that's why I gave it just 3 stars. I have gone back to using a more traditional cloth and velcro version which works fine for me.

I felt a distinct benefit as soon as I put this on.
The only draw back I found was that the fabric with which it is lined irritated my skin and I had to remove the clasp when my arm became red and swollen.
However, it is so good, I am trying to find something to line it with which won't do this. I would still recommend it!

I purchased this item on 29 Aug. I was very careful about buying the correct size (XL: 31-34cm); I measured my upper forearm (32cm) using a tailors measuring tape. Upon first trying the item out I found that it did provide some relief from my tendinitis however the clasp was rather itchy on bare skin (as is depicted on the picture). I couldn't actually stand to wear it over bare skin and head to wear a tubi-grip or a long sleeve shirt to wear the clasp comfortably.

Unfortunately the we now come to the headline of my review... The build quality is atrocious to say the least. The plastic frame of my clasp has snapped, it is actually being held together by the velcro and inner lining. Over the past week or so I had noticed that the clasp was no longer providing adequate compression. Upon closer examination today I noticed the 'structural failure'; irony is that my 30 day return period ended on 30 Sep (yesterday). The item is no longer fit for purpose, and to be honest I kind of had a small niggling doubt regarding its durability when I first received it. For it to have broken so soon speaks volumes about its design - I would say a defiinite 'don't buy'. I would like to say that mine might have just been a bad individual item but lets be honest... the whole white bit (apart from the strap) is plastic, and not a very good plastic at that.

I'll be contacting Amazon customer service regarding this matter tomorrow. As to why I've written this review first: I wanted to share my experience of this product with other potential buyers. My advice: look for something a bit more durable. If you're looking for something cheap and aren't too fussed as to how long it lasts then this is right for you.

I have just received mine today...i was diagnosed with tennis elbow by my gp. I bought a rather bulky strap in a local pharmacy, which gave me a little relief but as i said it was a bit bulky. I looked on Amazon and saw the reviews for this one and decided to go for it. I'm so glad i did! It has literally brought instant relief from constant pain. It's comfortable to wear and not at all bulky.Obviously i still have to be careful of heavy lifting or prolonged keyboard/mouse use, but this has definitely been a miracle for me.

Only used a couple of times. Although it fitted well kept moving down the arm. Snapped when I tried to adjust it. Plastic used may be quite brittle.

Read the reviews, recommended by dr to get a support for tennis elbow, and decided to give it a go - at this low price well worth a try.

Find it very helpful and does provide relief from annoying pains. Discreet enough under sleeves and small enough to carry with you for when it's needed.
I ordered both medium and large as wasn't sure exactly which one I needed - but can easily wear either.
