No instructions whatsoever - only the 'aim' of the game
on 18 January 2014
I have played time management games in the past and thoroughly enjoyed them, so I decided to purchase one. However, the game does not come with any instructions. I am aware that I have to click on things, but I am confused as to why, and 'how' to do things. For example, on the Madagascar game, on the first level, the object of the game is to collect the eggs and drop them into the warehouse. My warehouse became too full with eggs and suddenly my farm was becoming full of eggs everywhere- and I couldn't figure out how to empty my warehouse; no amount of clicking on it did anything whatsoever! Even the 'help' section doesn't go into enough detail when it explains what to do. It just says what needs to be done! Er....HOW??! Each of the three games I have tackled are equally confusing because of this. Also, there are other things you can do, like putting things in boats and stuff- but no way to know when you are supposed to do that. I thought that if I just played the game for long enough, I would figure it out for myself- but I just keep repeating the beginning of the first level, and that is increasingly tiresome.
I have Windows 7 and couldn't load the disc at first, it took me a good hour until I finally enlisted the help of someone a little more techno savvy than me, and she figured out that I had to go into 'computers' and double click on something etc etc.
I have scoured the internet for detailed instructions on these games, but to no avail. I might e-mail the company. In the meantime, I think I will purchase a Diner Dash or Supermarket game- I know what I'm doing with those as everything is straight forward and clear to understand.
