The title really should be "Shuttle flies again" or something similar. It IS NOT a history of the Shuttle (which is what I expected). Disc 1 really covers the inside workings of the Shuttle (what makes it tick). Disc 2 explores what went wrong during the tragic Columbia mission, and ways to fix the problems. Disc 3 covers the return to flight with STS-114, and how in-flight fixes would be performed in real space conditions. The detail is really amazing covering re-design on the external tank, damaged tile repairs etc. This would have got 5 stars (maybe 6!) if it hadn't been for the misleading title.

The space shuttle is almost at the end of it's use in space , these dvd's show a lot of what we would like to see , what goes on in the background in the life of the space shuttle , well worth the money , if you buy them , even just to have a big piece of space history , these dvd's are a must buy, Space beyond planet Earth , love it all . chris craig.
