A very enjoyable book to read very funny in parts a must for a marshal arts student
I got it as I know the author(left of cover picture) and knew Terry(right)
And Gary(centre)to nod to.
There is a lot of pages in this book so its good value for money as well.
Its for adults not suitable for under 16 I would say.

If you've ever trained with Sensei Terry O'Neill you've no doubt been enlightened by some of his recollections, so when I saw this book I had to buy it! It's an excellent read, very interesting and insightful book on the real world experiences of some of the pioneers of British Martial Arts!

Absolutely love this book. I may be a little biased as i started my Karate training at Sheil Park Karate club a couple of years after Dennis left there but it was great to read about the man who so many people used to talk about.

Working with Warriors is an excellent insight into the world Liverpools three most formidable doormen, seen throught the eyes of the author who is one of those men. From start to finish the reader is drawn into the world martial arts, international close protection, night club door security in major innercity venues and a world class training organisation which has delivered bespoke, state of the art training in fire arms, unarmed combat, bodyguarding and self defence to name but a few of the programmes available to private companies and individuals, law enforcement agencies and even governments.

Dennis Martin has for many years been a leading authority in the above mentioned areas and has written extensively in a great number of journals and magazines, this very well written book is a journey through the life a gentleman, bodyguard, pistol shooter, martial artist, training instructor, well respected doorman of repute and now author. It is clear from reading this work of art that the author is a perfectionist, a genius and above all..... a true master at his craft.
