The main thing going for this book is the novel plot / scenario. This elevates it from the run of the mill story.

The writing itself is OK, not outstanding but certainly not bad either. As other reviewers have noted, it could have been improved by a thorough proofreading before publication.

Oddly enough I could see this as a movie. Maybe someone should make it.

A truly excellent read, a mix of nudity and love and creatures you would not think possible. Set in Scotland, our main character, Heather has experienced trauma and loss. She meets a man whom she can connect with, someone who she will come to rely on in the face of danger, and help her find out what happened that fatefull day many years ago when her parents never returned home. About those inhuman experiments, and of the creatures that waited for them.

As an advertisement for the naturist philosophy this book makes an effort to make the case for the naturist but is over whelmed by the sheer mindless brutality of the story. Set in the wilds of Scotland full-time (i.e. Summer and Winter) naturist Heather greets visitors to her secluded cabin where she was brought up in the natural, unclothed world of her parents, both of whom have disappeared in mysterious circumstances several years ago. Soon the sole male, John is introduced to Heather's world while the other girls have already embraced it wholly or in part. However, in the background campers and visitors to the area are being tracked, attacked and - eaten! - by an unknown monster.
Most readers will see through the paper-thin plot in no time and then enjoy the bloody battle of the naturists vs the monsters over the mountains, hills, islands and lakes of north west Scotland - or not, as the case may be.

A very well constructed story. It is essentialy a tale of Naturist v Zombies but none the worse for that. The setting in the Scottish Highlands is beautiful and well described. The central characters are well drawn an I liked them both.
Good story, nice setting, good characters, so why 4*
The lead female character is too well balanced at the end of the tale considering the trauma in her life and there is an unnecessary sentimental ending to one of the storylines

this book was more horror story than naturist tale. Just when you think things cannot get worse, they do. Well written with a vein of "niceness", running through the story with the strong bonds of friendship between the characters.

A startling combination of a deadly monster and human nudity, a young couple's love for one another, the stark combination of a little naked truth and a lot of clothed mystery, all amidst unexpected encounters set in the wilds of the Scotland highlands. Are you ready for the 21st Century naturist novel?

Good story well developed but a very sudden end which needed to be smoother and better developed.

Strange story line a little cheesy at the start but it picked up and put in a few twists, ..I did come across quite a few spelling mistakes which did spoil my track a bit lots of 'hims' where it should have been 'her' and a couple more....but interesting enought to keep the kindle in my hand though.
