I highly recommend this book. It will grab you from the start and the plot and characters develop nicely making you want to read more. I finished the book in just three sittings, always a good sign when you can't put a book down. Read this, and pass it on, you'll be glad you did.

I'm not usually one for comic thrillers, but this was recommended to me by a friend. I was hooked from the start and couldn't put it down. It's laugh out loud funny with a great plot that keeps you guessing right to the end. Can't believe you can be this entertained for the price of a coffee.

I'll never hear the words "bingo marker pen" again without thinking of this book. Ha! More please Mr Wilson!

Great plot, funny and well paced. The characters really came to life and once I'd started it, I couldn't wait to find out what happened at the end (and I wasn't disappointed). There were some great laugh out loud moments too. All in all, a great book. It was recommended to me by a friend, and in turn I've recommended it to a few people - a must read!

I really enjoyed this book, it was funny, faced paced and really well written. The character development was great and i found myself warming to Tom even though he was clearly a bit mental! Would definitely recommend!

I have never felt the need to write a review but this book just cries out to be read and recognized for what it is. Quite simply BRILLIANT.

Gripping, Funny, with an edge to it that makes you feel both engaged and horrified at times.

Some people may be offended but the narrative is always in keeping with the characters and the plot.

BUY THIS BOOK YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

I really did find it hard to put down. And it kept me up late at nights too! Well worth a read and paying for it. It was humorous, insightful and exciting. I liked the author's style and ability to switch between the well developed characters writing in the first person which supplied many comical moments. A great read. Thanks

As the title suggests this is the story of a normal guy, Tom White (well I say normal but..) who accidentally becomes embroiled Gangsterdom in southern England and becomes a Hitman, (along with his eager pal Colin). Led by the pure greed of the lovely cash packages delivered at first by two very shady gangster Cheese and Frank, and later by the beautiful and mysterious Stephanie, our heroes set about murdering whoever they are asked to despite the absurd obstacles and circumstances that his paymasters demand. (fancy dress parties, paintball parties).

The book was a joy to read for me, written in a relatively simple style, no pretentiousness, no writers ego obstructing a good story..every page genuinely produced a smile with either subtle humour or outright macabre slapstick. Add into the mix a love interest (the Luscious lipped Laura) that added value to the story and gave our hero a conscience and some emotional dilemma's to contend with and we have a classic funny murder story in the vein of Tim Dorsy or even Ryan Bracha..there was no pressure on the reader to become moralistic about the killings of seemingly innocent folk as there was the exact right amount of humour to let you just roll along and enjoy the blood letting. Its not at all gory or gratuitous but has an edge that keeps you up those extra minutes or hours till your eyes start to drop.

Highly recommended. I will be seeking out more books from A.W. Wilson

This was a book I read by accident, so had some affinity with it.
I was more than pleasantly surprised. Amusing, paced nicely and I liked the ending.
I hope to read more from Mr Wilson.
A good read.

Spotted this one climbing the iBooks chart and it reminded me to post a review here.

An extremely funny book with thrills galore. A few train journeys were spent withholding guffaws from my fellow commuters. I say a few journeys as I struggled to put it down once started, a true measure of a page turning thriller.

An absolute bargain at 99p. I picked it up for £1.75 and would happily do so again.

If you're reading this and have any kind of sense, you will be clicking the buy button about now.

I've been reading books by the same authors for a while now, and have been on the lookout for new authors. A.W Wilson is definitely one of the ones I'll be following.

Accidental Hitman combines suspense and humour in a way that had me engaged from the start. Well paced and entertaining, the main characters are likeable and very believable (I've been where Tom is at the start, though I must stress I stayed well within the law), and I ended up staying up until 3am to finish it.
