5.0 out of 5 stars You can't really beat this for value
If you want to hear a little more of heaven 17 other than their well known singles then you can't really go wrong with this compilation - 33 tracks for less than 4.50 is certainly value for money. The well known tracks are there, as well as fan favourites such as I'm Your Money and Lets All Make A Bomb, and a selection of album tracks from through the years. The...

3.0 out of 5 stars Yet another budget compilation (where's Bigger Than America?)
Yet another padder before we get (possibly) an Anniversary edition of "Luxury Gap" and MOQ&D Vol 3. At least CD1 is generally in chronological order, but there is so much filler on disc 2, and far too many album tracks from "Teddy Bear" and "Pleasure One". Whilst I do like "Low Society" the inclusion of the dire "Dangerous" and boring "Big Square People" as 'important'...

The inclusion of the more recent Hands Up To A Heaven (a huge club hit in the States) proves that Mssrs Ware & Gregory still have that magic touch.

Of course fans like myself will buy this, and you can debate at length about which tracks should or shouldn't have been included, but for the casual music listener it's really worth grabbing hold of while you can.

Whilst I do like "Low Society" the inclusion of the dire "Dangerous" and boring "Big Square People" as 'important' album tracks is almost beyond belief, particularly as there is no reference atall to material from their excellent "Bigger Than America" album, which spawned 2 singles and some very atmospheric album tracks like "Dive" and "Do I Believe". Maybe a licensing issue... As a career overview it's so-so, and if you've already got "Sight & Sound",possibly backed up with "Remixes", then that's pretty much all you need compilation-wise.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fine for the casual listener, 18 Dec 2013

I remember Heaven17 and used to have tapes etc in the past, though this was a way to have all the main tracks at hand, for singles and some remixes. For the amount of tracks, for the price, it is difficult to complain (especially as was only around 3, on a 3 for 2 offer). If you want to have everything, and be "the true fan" you'll probably have the albums already... but for me.. this is far more than sufficient.

For the price this is an outstanding collection, yes all the hits are there plus some of the more hard to find tracks and of course remixes. Definitely a good collection to buy if you like their music.

CD was fine but wasn't the cheapest considering a Retro group. And inexpensive downloads available on the Net radioTherapy sound though
