Electric Nerf without the jam,

I bought one of these for my lad for his 8th b'day. Did a lot of research then bought it on a whim :) Got to say we're very pleased! It has a reasonably rapid rate of fire, decent range, looks terrific and has zero chance of jamming due to the design. Basically all the darts load into the front which then rotates as the gun is fired, shooting out the darts in quick succession. It's a bit like a big, electric Maverick. We've had it for a week now and despite almost constant use for shooting dad in the back, arms, legs, neck etc the batteries are still going strong. The only minor gripe is the time it takes to reload but it's a small price to pay for the reliability of the gun IMO.

We have a few nerf guns and saw this for a reasonable price and just had to give it a whirl, I was very impressed with the quality of the gun, yet again nerf have built a durable toy.It works very well and fires all 20 bullets on rapid fire in about 15 seconds!! it is sooooo much fun when my son ambushes his nan with the full 20. Highly recommended product, a must for any nerf fan

Very awesome nerf gun, heavier than I thought it would be but unlike others no sound until you pull the trigger.

Machine-gun your friends - if you can take the weight!,

This is one of the heftier Nerf guns: you need some heavyweight batteries to power it, and the resulting weight makes it difficult to use for younger kids. That said, when fully loaded this gives you a heck of a barrage of darts, with a long range and a fairly rapid rate of fire. It will fire pretty much any Nerf darts, you don't have to use Dart Tags. A downside, however, is that it isn't particularly accurate - not that it matters much if you're having a shoot-out, as firing off a full load of darts is pretty intimidating to your opponent and some of them are bound to find their target! Reloading is a slow process, however, given the number of darts this blaster takes, so your opponent will get their revenge as soon as the Swarmfire is empty...

My house is no longer the safe sanctuary it once was. It has become a war zone. It's a great fun gun, for older kids and the young at heart.

My son gets up and the first thing he does is shoot this thing. So safe to say he loves it very much. Very happy, as the swarmfire is more than half cheaper than in my country.Great price!

For the sub twenty pound price, this is great. Feels good in the hand, has good range and rapid fire, this is great fun. Looks the business. Pretty accurate as well! No jamming issues or anything else.Ideal for pretending to be a kid again with the nephews! They'll get their revenge though when you have to stop to reload.

This is a great addition to the nerf gun series. Admittedly it is a bit on the heavy side so younger kids may struggle to hold it. However the semi-automatic feature is great. Just hold the trigger and it'll fire off 20 rounds. The darts are the Velcro kind and easily stick to your clothing. The gun is also quite powerful and can shoot the darts with quite a bit of force, I've been unlucky enough to catch one in the face at close range! The gun itself is very sturdy and can stand up to a lot of bashing, it has a removable stock and a simple on off switch at the top(takes 6 C batteries!!!!!) the only downside is load time as there's 20 nerf bullets and it's a manual reload instead of a clip type. We also have the barricade rv-10 and this in my opinion is much better in terms of bullets carried, firing range and fun.

My little sister's birthday is coming up and the only thing that she asked me for was a nerf gun and more specifically the big nerf gun but I wasn't sure I would be able to get one for a reasonable price so when I saw this I knew I had to buy it for my sister. It arrived very quickly and I was very impressed when it did arrive. It was a perfect size as it is definitely one of the big ones that my sister wanted and I know that she will love it when she opens it on her birthday. The price for this nerf gun is extremely reasonable and I would definitely recommend this to anybody!

It's a really awesome nerf gun. I wish I'd realised you needed 6 C batteries before I gave it to my boyfriend- but he's had so much fun! I'd recommend it to every child- and child at heart.
