I am a person who likes silicone gel cases and this one is the bomb and it is very cheap......

this case fits very snugly on my note and it even has the holes slightly bigger so you dont have to remove the case every time you connect a usb port or headphone jack plus the places where the buttons are i.e. power and volume it has a slight matte finish which enable you to find them even in the dark......

so at the end if you like gel cases then you should go for this......

This gel case is an excellent choice for this phone, offering a modicum of additional protection without detracting from the phone's good looks or its operation. Indeed both are enhanced. Firstly, the phone is easier to hold due to the less slippery surface and, because the side buttons are operated through the case, one is far less likely to actuate them inadvertently - something that I had found very difficult to avoid doing, particularly when changing grip. It's still possible to do this, but generally it requires a deliberate squeeze to operate them with the case fitted. Secondly, the glossy finish and sleek curves of the case, in my opinion, give the phone a very classy look, and feel, while adding less than 2.5 mm to the thickness of an already very thin device. (With the case fitted, the phone's overall thickness is increased to 12mm, which is just 0.5 mm thicker than a naked iPhone 4.) Thirdly, the fit is snug and precise and the cut-outs are in all the right places, including for microphones and speaker, and do not interfere with the insertion of either USB or phone jacks. Nor do they make it any more difficult (at least for me) to extract the stylus. Finally, there is (I am assured) no noticeable echo effect when using telephony.

It is somewhat unfortunate that, with the case fitted, the phone no longer fits in the bespoke Samsung vehicle dock. (This would apply to any fitted case.) However this case is easy to remove and refit on the occasions when it is required to use the phone hands-free in a vehicle.

At 99p, this would undoubtedly be superb value for money. However, as the p&p charges are significant in comparison and increase with the quantity ordered, the true unit cost is somewhat higher. Nevertheless it's still good value and highly recommended.

One final point: The product is not labelled with any manufacturer's identification. This review is for the gel case supplied by FoneM8 in January 2012 accompanied by a card insert replicating the front of the phone, with a picture of some clouds against a blue sky, and carrying the text "Galaxy Noet/i9220".

I wanted a case for my new Galaxy Note that would protect it and make it less slippery. This case fitted perfectly and the gel skin makes it much easier to grip. All the holes in the skin line up perfectly with the sensors, camera, pen hole, etc. The pen is slightly harder to get out, which just takes some getting used to (I am left-handed though, so the pen is never that convenient). The volume and power switches are harder to press, which is good as I find I quite often accidentally press the volume switch.

The skin is quite thin, (1-2mm) and doesn't make the Note seem that much larger.

I bought this as a cheap stopgap whilst deciding what case to buy, but I think I might just keep this permanently now. It's great!

Cover made from some silicone compound, not too soft and not too hard. Pictures taken after 3 months of use. No noticeable scratches so far (3 months of use). Charger and headphones area could be a bit bigger, although it's well done. Take a look on the pictures as well.

This skin case was cheap and perhaps I was unlucky, but if you have a Galaxy Note you want a cover which doesn't detract from the quality of the phone - unfortunately this case does just that.

The case is made in two parts which are moulded together. On the right-hand side, along the line where the two parts of the case meet, there was a sharp and uncomfortable edge running the length of the case. On the left hand side, about 1/2 way along the length of the case, there was a rough stump of the material from which the case is made.

The holes in the case which allow access to the phone's various sockets were all off-set to the left.

While the case did look good and was a tight fit for the phone, holding the phone with the case on wasn't a pleasant sensation - quite the reverse. Also, in my experience, if you have the Samsung dock the phone won't fit into it with the case on.

It fits, it protects, it's cheap, what more do you need?
Oh, I know:
1 Better mould seams, these are really rough at the edges, for what is a fairly persistent tactile experience.
2 A hole for the charger that actually fits around the charger- but if you're handy with a razor you can fix that.
3 either holes or more discernable nubbins for the power & volume buttons at the side, I find I have to visually check to find the buttons
4 People gripe that the buttons are too sensitive, but I find I really gotta grab through the thick rubber to get a response.
So, In conclusion, I probably wouldn't get this one again, but in it's defence, see the first line of this review.

great phone cover for galaxy note. had this a few weeks now and its saved me a few scratches already. well made with holes in all the right places, charger, headphones etc. volume and on/off button need a firm press to work but this is a small issue and they do both work. only down side, it looks a little cheap but hey it is at £1.49 and the cover it provides makes it outstanding value for money. pic is innacurate though, the samsung logo is not visible with the cover on as shown. all in all a great product.

Maybe it's a play on words in the description because there are cut outs for the stylus, cameras, microphone and charger BUT there aren't any for the volume button and power button! Is this on purpose?! The plastic is slightly thinner and you can just about work them through the plastic, but it kind of goes against what I was expecting. Other than that the skin fits fine, plastic is quite shiny and seems durable. But I would have thought the 99p ones on ebay would probably be just the same!

I work for a company that develops mobile working software so often hand devices around for people to play with themselves. I bought this cover to give the phone some protection while being handed around. I didn't expect much as it was so cheap, but this is one of the best accessories I have bought for any device and I never take it off.

The note is an incredible device but it is a bit big and you can often feel like you are going to drop it. 7 and 10 inch tablets don't suffer this because you hold them differently, but you hold the note like a phone only use it as a tablet. This cover completely eliminates this issue, the note is 100 times easier to hold and use. I also thought it would look big and bulky and ruin the beauty that is the Galaxy note - again not so, it fits perfectly, does not make the device look bulky and because of the slightly raised edges it means you can put the device screen side down on a surface and the screen doesn't make contact.

I think the manufacturer is crazy selling this so cheap - I nearly didn't buy it because I figured it had to be crap - cannot recommend this enough if you have got a note

This is a great cover and not just for its money. It fits perfectly, protects all angles and back and adds very little to the size of the phone. I've dropped the Note a couple of times and thank God I had the case on. I also bought a rubber one and it doesn't compare to this.
