The dress arrived the day after I placed the order. I just love the the fit, the feel, the style, I bought a size bigger than I normally take because of the 'clingy'material this which lets the dress hang beautifully. It is a really stylish dress you wouldn't be dissapointed, perfect for any occassion and just the right length. I am very impressed with the service Lindy Bop offer it is excellent, I sadly had a problem with the hem on my dress(which I found after removing the label and wearing it) I contacted the company they were very helpful and sent me out a replacement straight away and with no quibble which arrived the very next day! Fantastic service and a beautiful retro/vintage frock :D Will deffinately be using again and recommending Lindy Bop to all my friends.

Great quality to the fabric and very well ligned- good length, but being a larger lady-decided to order the 20- as I am a size 18- very glad I did- as the larger size flatters- skims beautifully over the hips- great fore dancing- as moves with you-gives lots of streach for arm movement- saving up to buy the other colour.

This dress is simple in design but stylish in true 40s practicality with a delicious understated land girl feel to it. Yes, I love all things retro and this hits the spot. It's extremely comfortable, washes well and the sizing is accurate. It's a nice length (mid calf) and its loose skirt means you can wear stockings, bullet bras and girdles underneath without any fear of VPL and to really experience the era. The red is a little darker than the picture indicates (more brick red than pillar box) but is lovely, and it's available in black with white polka dots also. Have matching lipstick and victory rolls at the ready! Shame GIs aren't available on here as well... x

Just perfect, well made and a fantastic price, just right for the retro party I was attending. I wish I hadn't wasted so long trundling up and down the high street! Well done, I would definitely buy from this seller again.

Soft comfortable material and perfect size 10. A few loose bits of cotton, but was surprised at quality considering price.

fantastic dress, very pretty and flattering to my pear shaped body ! i was a bit cautious to the length as i hate my thighs , chubby knees and calfs , this was a great perfect choice to have for the party i was attending . :) i will definetly re-order this in another colour and wish they done this in brighter colours like pink , peach or yellow. its just my style.

it twirls while you dance aswell and spin . i loved it !

i would recommend this to anyone that likes 1950s style clothes and also wants to be comfy and have there figure flattered . the only down fall is you need to be a bit taller - i am 5"8 if i was shorter it would have been too long! :( but again combine this dress with suoer hgh heels or wedges as i done and you will look amazing !!! :)

The quality of the dress is really good... comes well packaged! I have this dress in blue as well and I love it...What I don't love about this one it's a smaller fitting of a 12 and it's very very long... I'm 5,7 and this dress is at least 2-2.5 inches below my knee...Blue one perfect at the knees... All the other reviews are amazing for this dress, maybe I just got an odd one. Cheers M :-)

I bought a red and a black one to attend the Agatha Christie Festival in Torquay. Together with 1940ies handbag, shoes and hairstyle they look very authentic and got many compliments. The feel of both dresses is great, nice heavy material but also nice stretchy. I am sure I will wear them often to go dancing :)
