Another heart wrenching book from Casey , I really dont know how some people cope with being foster carers but thank goodness they are there when needed . This account was a very difficult one to read as the young girl in question had a very big and not always pleasant effect on Caseys family . They all must have the patience of a saint because Im sure as hell I couldnt have put up with kind of behaviour

You know where you are with Caseys books. always well worth reading . .

Casey Watson has done it again. I would recommend these books to anyone that is thinking or currently working in the social service, safeguarding or fostering area. Is brilliantly written, deeply touching and keeps your eyes open to the mad world that we live in and maybe have luckily never encountered. But for those that have, Casey's experience and calm determination is remarkable.

I find these books heart breaking, cannot believe people can put children through such pain and torment but as with Casey Watsons previous book I couldnt put this down, the jobs these foster families do is nothing short of amazing. This book is definetly worth reading!! xx

Casey Watson. Wonderful Lady and a wonderful family, with a job not many would want but one I think everyone admires. An amazing read and insight into the dark side of this sometimes cruel world. Total respect to an exceptionally fabulous lady, Casey Watson.

Read this in a day - Casey writes with such emotion, I was gripped from page one…
As an ordinary foster carer myself I understand a little of what she deals with! But it takes someone really special to work with such badly damaged kids.

I found this story very hard going. I felt for the young girl but also for the carers. I had to finish reading it but was really pleased to get to the end. I do usually enjoy reading Casey's books but this one is one of her most harrowing.
