I actually bought this a long time ago under a lightning deal.
It has been sitting in a drawer ever since as I bought it to put it away and give it to my daughter on an occasion such as her 21st or maybe even her wedding day (something blue or new or old even hopefully).
The occasion isn't decided, could even be the sweet sixteen but I fell in love with the bracelet and the idea.
It has 7 sapphires and 14 tiny diamonds.
These are set one either side of the sapphires and are a lot like a ring setting with the larger stone in the centre of two smaller stones.
In between each cluster there is a decorative figure of eight in gold which is hollow underneath.
The sapphires are very dark.
The clasp is really difficult to do up on your own but I recently came across a tip on the internet showing a really easy way to do up bracelets using a paperclip. ( I have tried to explain it at the end of this review).
I really do like this bracelet, its delicate and stunning and I am sure when my daughter eventually gets it she will love it.
I was lucky, buying this worked out for me as I bought it on a deal. The bracelet is beautiful but is also overpriced.
In the end with jewellery it does come down to personal taste and if we love something we often pay a little extra but its better to make that decision knowingly rather than be disappointed after.
You open out a paperclip leaving the curved hooks and hook one end through the link.
Lay your arm palm side up with the bracelet being done up on this side and hold the paper clip length ways up from your wrist in the centre of your palm by closing your fingers over it. All you do then is bring the other end containing the clasp and hook it in the link that is being held in place by the paperclip.
