I walked for around twenty mins in the snow and these gave me excellent traction on the snow and ice, unfortunately when i got home i realised i had lost around half of the studs from the bottom rendering them useless, if you want some snow gripers i would spend a little more, these are more disposable than for repeated use, ok if you just wanna stand in your fridge

Not a bad grip in ice and heavy frost conditions. We use them regularly when walking on the pontoons and the ice and frost tend to send you sliding ever sideways into the drink. Only good for flat shoes, any form of heel on boots or shoes result in the grippers not sitting well on the heel. Not a bad buy for $6.

Used these this winter and was really pleased with them. I first saw them advertised in a magazine and they were a lot more expensive !!!.I walk the dog very early in the mornings and having fallen a few times i had started putting an old pair of socks over my walking boots. I have to say they are so good i am going purchase some that will cover my day to day shoes & boots.

Worked really well. Just clipped onto normal walking shoes and didn't slip over once. Easy to carry around, light and flexible.

I wore these exactly three times, 10-15 minute walks each way, on not very tough icy terrain (half-melted Oslo city streets) before some of the spikes came off. Now I have to get new ice grips. Avoid.

I read a lot of reviews and decided on these grippers because they had good reviews. They were cheaper than others but I thought if they didnt work I wasnt losing anything. I ordered them when I heard snow was forecast the next week and am I glad. They came just befoe the snow and in Wales it was pretty bad. It was impossible to get out where I live so they were really useful. I found they gripped the packed snow and the ensuing ice which was very dangerous. I am so glad I had them and would recomend them. They fitted on my boots well but were a bit big for trainers. I am ready for the next lot which we will have before spring.

After a two and half mile walk I'd lost three studs.. My husband lost one stud very disappointed should come with spare studs as they came off so quickly....

They would be a brilliant product if they stayed on your shoes!
I have tried them with wellies but they kept slipping off as they got wet, then I tried them with boots and had to keep pulling them up at the back.
They stay on at the front but not the back so I had to buy another pair of different ones to try and put over them to keep them on!
I thought they would be brilliant as ones size but maybe if they were bigger they would stay on.
Shame I had to wait for snow to try them or I would have sent them back.
