If your dog licks his paws etc., then this is a MUST. Our dog goes through phases of licking a paw till it nearly bleeds. We've tried everything, hats, cones, hysterically expensive pills from the vet. Take cone off, straight back to paw. This stuff is amazing.
The smell is of old fashioned coal tar. I put some on top of his paws and he hasn't licked one since. Also it's good for soothing sore patches on dog. Delighted.

I bought this for my cat as it was prescribed to stop her from over grooming feline alopecea'

stinky terrible really gooey and stinks house out with sulphur smell, it smells like someone has let rip throughout the home ,mmm lovely.
IT then not only makes the animal look like its encased in mud but it stains everywhere. Everywhere they move the cream goes onto. I have cleaned it off my white duvet and pillow cases, off the outside of the cat litter tray.
IN the end I put her into the bath gave her a light shower to which she lovingly shook brown goo all over the tiles and me lovely!
this stuff is a nightmare. it stinks and the the worst part is this.

Blisters formed worse than before! hair is coming out in clumps red pathces itchy cat depressed and now soaking wet after bathing her.

not impressed. It even ruined the soft cat collar so it had to be thrown away.

this stuff is a nuisance shouldn't be sold at all.

My dog has dry skin on his face due to allergies - his face bleeds on occasion. After trying many tablets by the vets which didn't help I tried this - it is okay - I saw no major difference. The biggest downfall was the smell - it stank of burnt rubber and made my dogs face smell of rubber - a tyre like smell.

I have used it for 40 years on my dogs, horses, goats and also for 'scaly leg' in poultry,it clears it up in 24/48 hours>There is nothing better in my opinion.I once used it on my self ,as I had no antiseptic ointment at the time ,and it worked.

As this was recommended for cats and dogs, I assumed it could be used on indoor pets. But the ointment is brown, thick and smelly and would stain everything, including my dog. Yuk! Sorry, waste of time and money - straight in the bin

For some reason my dog lost all its body fur, the vet said it wouldn't grow again but just a couple of applications of this cream and the fur began to grow very quickly. He's now a furry ball again.

Not overly impressed tbh. But haven't given it a chance yet. Was put off by the smell and the mess it left.
