It's got the slow burning magic of her early 80's period. Grows on you muiscally and it's lyric is also intriguing, making you wonder how the rest of the album will fit around it, what the Whole Story will be. Superb. And still no obvious musical influences. Unique.

Well, was it worth the wait? A huge yes. Simply makes the wait for the album even more difficult! The only issue with MP3 downloads is there is no information regarding the musicians playing on the track. Not the end of the world, but another reason to get the CD of the album ;-)

Kate Bush releases tend to make you reach for words not usually expressed for pop music, and the same can be said for "Wild Man." Her talent for bringing World and Classical influences into her own brand of pop -- and then not taking any of it too seriously -- is unparalleled.

A middling tempo combined with an insistent (and very catchy) woodwind (I think!) and one of her most mystery-laden vocal performances make this single a standout. Breathy, sultry and exquisitely foreign (she namechecks about half of Nepal), the vocal imparts a sense of passion to what can only be called her most oddball lyric yet....make that "yeti." :)

"Wild Man" is a great new song that draws you into its intrigue and becomes more infectious with each listen.

This is fantastic and well worth the wait, while i thought "Director's Cut" was great i really wanted some new original material from Kate after the long wait since her masterpiece "Aerial" and "50 words for snow" sounds like exactly what i was hoping for, something winter themed and "Wild Man" is so great i'm anticipating the album even more :)
