Without a doubt the two best nature documentaries available together in one box set. Out the two I prefer Frozen Planet, however it's the old Ronaldo and Messi debate it can go on forever they're both outstanding. David Attenborough's iconic voice is complimented by some of the greatest scenes ever filmed along with a breathtaking shot of a great white shark breaching the water. The Blu-ray edition to me is a no brainer, if you have the option don't get it on DVD, you won't be disappointed. Planet Earth takes you around the world looking at Mountains, Great Plains, Fresh Water and so on whilst Frozen Planet concentrates on the seasons and animals surviving the harshest of weather. Episode two on FP is without a doubt one of the funniest acts of nature ever filmed involving penguins but I won't spoil it. This is a must buy and an all round family experience. (If you are watching it with really young children just be aware when the polar bears are on in FP, they get a bit friendly :).

Absolutely incredible! Marvelous. It is so amazing to see and learn things you never imagine before, and all those things here in our planet. We do not need to go to another planet to see unbelievable things.

Brilliant value package narrated by the living legend that is David Attenborough. Easing me through a few Sunday hangovers. Excellent.

Just finished watching the first 30 minutes of Frozen Planet and it is spectacular! The HD from the blu-ray makes it even more captivating and when you realise how much effort was put into making the documentary (film crews diving underwater in -30°C waters, flying near volcanos) you really appreciate the dedication from the team to bring us all this wonderful knowledge of our planet. I am really looking forward to watching this over and over again!

Such fantastic photography and the snippets of information on how they were able to capture the footage is amazing. I cannot stress enough how impressive this documentary is. Lots of respect for the guys who braved those dangerous conditions for so long and it's nice to see them get some recognition in front of the camera.

I loved the BBC documentary so much that I gave it 5 starts. The quality of the work in the documentary is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this product for anybody who like nature. It is educational and entertaining at the same time and throughout the documentary all you get to say is "Wow".

This is one of the best documentary series I've ever seen. Absolutely loved it; from the majestic views of the stunning Angel Falls in South America, to the quiet content Pandas in China, to the sheer power of the Polar Bears in the Arctic. These series are not to be missed and definitely worth the money.

David Attenborough does it again. What could be better for lovers of the natural world than to have these two great series on blu ray to get the best possible quality.

Yet another stunning, absorbing and utterly brilliant series from BBC and Attenborough. Incredibly shot, and as you would expect, superbly narrated. Essential.

Such a great series from BBC, can't fault it at all. Plus it looks fantastic in HD quality! I'm waiting for BBC Africa to come out with eagerness now
