The reason that I purchased this item was because my gym(Fitness First now Klick) has taken out the equipment that was linked to the TV's so when I am on the treadmill etc time with only my MP3 to listen to time goes at 'half speed' admit it you know what I mean.
What I was after was a cheap alternative to using my Apple phone and the possibility of breaking it. To be honest, due to the price of this I wasn't expecting anything great but how wrong was I, this device is absolutely fabulous and far exceeds my expectations. Downloading stuff has been easy and the technical backup from 'Ross' has been second to none. I have contacted him twice for advice and he has got back to me very quickly.
Apart from the MP3 function I have been able to download loads of stuff such as movies, videos from youtube etc and the quality overall has been brilliant iin fact the only problems with quality that I have experienced stem from the original material not this gismo i.e. videos from the 80's.
I am off on my hols soon and will be taking this to play some of the films whilst on the plane (so up yours Ryanair.
So in closing if you are considering purchasing one of these I can promise you that you will not be disappointed, whithout doubt there are probably better ones out there that do more 'singing and dancing' but will cost you another £100+.
I use this player all the time and can therefore recommend it.
Steve

a superb mp3/mp4/mp5 player, you wont go wrong if you buy this, evodigitals have loaded instructions in the e-book because the instructions that come with it are naff. if you cant manage to load video or anything the instructions in the e-book function will tell you where to download a free converter which is also superb.
the sound quality is superb through the supplied in-ear headphones and the mains usb charger is a nice alternative to plugging into a pc to charge it.
i can't believe they can sell this superb player so cheap.

The first player I ordered simply did not work properly - the radio didn't work and the screen was so unresponsive as to be almost useless. When it did work the video player refused to play any of the suggested formats, and the reader read only one screen's worth of text, no matter how long the actual document happened to be. The featured screen views in the instruction booklet did not match the player: likewise, the icons on the screen also differed from those illustrated. I contacted Ross and was emailed (albeit promptly) with instructions that anyone with any knowledge of modern gadgets would think obvious. After requesting a replacement (no quibbles and arrived quickly) exactly the same things happened - no radio, unresponsive screen, no player, no reader, no proper instructions. Time to give up and get a decent player that works properly and is reliable.
If you happen to get one of these players that works you're lucky, but my personal recommendation is not to waste your time or money.

I hovered between giving two and three stars for this unit, but decided it only merited two.

Good points ...

1/ Nice robust piece of kit, feels not at all 'plasticky'
2/ Comes with screen protector sheet pre-applied.
4/ Comes with nice protective bag, usb lead, charger and a dinky little stylus.
5/ Screen nicely responsive
6/ Videos are nice and clear (But see 1 below)
7/ Good volume on the loudspeaker

The bad.....

1/ Videos were a nightmare to load, the one I had was haphazard in what it played, even between videos loaded in
the same format and resolution
2/ Every 'tab', be it photos, video, music etc displayed all items on the device so finding a specific file was a
pain.
3/ Pictures took an age to load
4/ Taking those aside, mine did work until it began to fill up. Then it would tell me that there was 'no file',
that there was a 'File error', or each time it started up it would update the media library (which took longer
the more files there were on it) or it simply locked up solid.

I gave this Two stars because when it did work, it was nice and to be honest, if all you want it for is as an MP3 Player and the occasional small you tube video, then I'm sure it will be fine.

Just don't try to load too much onto it or expect it to play full length feature films (as i did) and it will no doubt be fine.

My thanks to Ross at EvoDigitals for putting up with my tirade of e-mails and subsequently a prompt refund.

I have had this unit for a few weeks now and have tried almost all the functions before I decided to write a review on it.
When I first got the player I could not get it to charge from the mains but it would from my laptop. I realised the charger was faulty and a replacement was sent to me straightaway. Since then everything has been "A" o.k.I connected it to my laptop and transferred my music and videos which I was then able to play on my tv, the videos were not of the highest quality but were very acceptable.
You really could not ask for anything better for the price. I have read some reviews which implied the touchscreen was not sensitive enough . My only complaint is when I make a voice recording and try to save it I have to tap the screen a couple times before it is saved. I have an Ipad that cost a lot more and I sometimes have that problem with it.
All in all well worth the money..

This product was delivered very quickly. I followed the instructions and gave it a full charge. I strongly recommend, after switching on, going directly to ebook where you will find the very helpful README-HELP.txt. This is much easier to follow than the enclosed user manual. If following the advice in this section you still have difficulty downloading video then follow the guidance in FAQ and download the free converter. This worked a treat for me and in no time I was transferring videos to the player. The picture and sound are, I think, amazingly good for a product at this price. The 4.3 inch screen offers an excellent compromise between a compact player that you can put in your pocket and a picture with sufficient detail to enjoy. There are lighter players on the market but the player feels reassuringly solid and well made. I have had no problems with the touch screen though I do find the radio a little variable - reception wise. However, I have no doubts that this product offers remarkable value for money. I rarely write reviews but, my experience of this product and the speed of delivery is so positive, that I would like to share these views with others.

I was actualy quite disappointed with this product.. I know you get what you pay for but I thought I had found a bargain as most other reviews were quite good.. I find it very hard to keep it connected to the computer.. Sometimes it will recognise it fine other times it won't.. Windows Media player doesn't like it at all.. Had to download another media player. Tried to put an AVI movie on it, which it won't accept. According to the manual it will play AVI's of a certain size and quality, I checked this with the movie I was trying to put on there and it was well within the limits but no joy... I would say pay a few extra pounds and get something better..

Bought this player for our 7 year old daughter as a birthday present as it ticked all of the right technical boxes. Arrived just as promised with great packaging and good accessories. Looked and felt great. Unfortunately, for a touch screen device, the touch screen would not function at all. Ross was great and replaced it without question. Unfortunately, although the touch screen on the replacement device worked fine, the player kept freezing part way through all .avi video files and required a hard reset every time. At this point we asked for a full refund - which Ross agreed to without quibble, also refunding our postage. A real shame, as it was perfect in every other way. 5* for service, but our experience of this product was sadly not good.

Times is hard & I wasn't in the market for pricey fruit based technology. Wanted an MP3 player with a decent amount of memory. This player fitted the bill. You get what you pay for & the seller is keen enough to help.

I am having some difficulty in finding my way round this player due to almost non existent instructions, I have loaded music but still cannot get the radio working, I will have to concede defeat and contact Ross Elliott, apart from that It arrived on time and I am very pleased with the sound quality and the screen size.
