Funny and sweet, but of course not a serious read. It now lives by our toilet......

A bit short, but I found this a very amusing way to pass an hour or so in the bath!

Read it as soon as it arrived in the post, absolutely hilarious! I think I was laughing for a good ten minutes at the quotes about the famous five books! The ripping yarns section was by far the funniest, but I was giggling the whole way through!
The only criticism I had was that sometimes it wasn't clearly marked when a quote ended, a bit confusing at times.

This is one of those books which seems hilarious for the first few pages, but rapidly palls when you realise that the rest of it is just more examples of the same kind of thing with no real variation or development. Entertaining enough to while away a dull twenty minutes, but that's as far as it goes. Glad I only spent 99p on it.

Ha ha ha, hee hee hee, polite titter, raucous laughter , open mouthed disbelief. It's all here. In an age of political correctness it's probably ignorantist. Which may be the same as elitist. Not sure. Anyway laugh while you're still allowed to.

Brilliant book, if you love books and you want a cracking laugh. Allocate yourself two hours and start reading because you won't want to put it down. The great thing too was that was funny right to the end.
