5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I needed
Does exactly what it should. You can attach your sat-nav via the suction pad to this mat. The mat is placed on the dashboard, so you avoid needing to attach the sucker on the windscreen and you don't get those smeared circles.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not foolproof
Took several attempts before the mat could be persuaded to stay put. Sat nav fell off a few times but finally stayed put. Not yet used it much but it survived shocks from the many pot holes round here

Easy to use and transfer between cars! Really good product, which sits conveniently and securely on two very different car dashboards.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb dashboard mount, 7 Jan. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Sat Nav Dash Friction Mount Mat For TomTom, Garmin Navman Mio etc (Electronics)
This dashboard mount stuck to the dashboard as if it was glued. Using it with Tom Tom's widest sat nav, the sat nav did fall over the first time I used it, but having made some very slight adjustments to the angle of the sat nav integrated stand, it's remained firmly in place, despite traversing hills and sharp bends. So it has proved to be a most effect alternative to sticking it to the windscreen and has avoided those unsightly marks on the windscreen in the process. A very good value for money item, and in my opinion easily transferrable to virtually any dashboard if you decide to change your car.

this is a simple yet effective idea which beats the self adhesive disk products, certainly on the grainy dash top of my golf.

THIS MAT DOES NOT SIT ON THE DASH OF MY 2012 FIESTA. THE TOM TOM JUST KEEPS ON FALLING DOWN BECAUSE OF THE DASH CONTOURS

4.0 out of 5 stars Sat Nav Dash Friction Mount Mat, 24 Dec. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Sat Nav Dash Friction Mount Mat For TomTom, Garmin Navman Mio etc (Electronics)
The idea of this mat is excellent however it is only suitable if you have a very flat dashboard and your sat nav has a low degree of gravity otherwise it will topple over & pull the mat off.

fitted in no time , attached my phone and went out for a drive .
all seemed ok until i went up a hill , then the weight of a Samsung Galaxy S3 obviously was too much and the whole lot un-peeled itself and fell into the footwell . will probably be ok with some double sided tape though but doesn't that kind of defeat the object of this ?
