5.0 out of 5 stars Really clear illustrations, 5 Feb. 2012
Excellent scans alongside clear and well labelled diagrams. Includes diagram of where each slice is taken, aiding orientation. I only used the CT sections but the MRI sections look equally clear. Could do with a bit more on bone perhaps but good covered of vascular territories, circulation and normal anatomy. It's conciseness (as it says, it is an atlas) makes it a great look-up book for quick, easy reference. I used it in conjunction with Holmes, Forrest-Hay and Misra's Interpretation of Emergency Head CT and A Pocket Atlas of Normal CT Anatomy of the Head and Brain (Radiology Pocket Atlas Series) by Michelle M. Smith, Timothy L. Smith, Anton N. Hasso and Miyuki Shakudo (1 Sep 2000) both of which I would highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars must-have, 11 Sept. 2011
This book is a must have for anyone who has even an occasional requirement for neuroanatomy. As a non-neuro radiologist this book is invaluable for on-call work, especially the neck section as I often find describing the position of lesions in the neck difficult. The depiction of the spaces of the neck is especially good. Slightly dear for such a small book, but is overall very good value on account of the high quality content and printing.

I work in MRI and find these series of books very useful. Images are in three planes with enough detail, small enough to carry in your work bag.
