This product is frankly rubbish. The balls didn't align - one of them scraped the base. Another of them moved around on its thread so didn't stay in line with the other balls. Complete waste of money and more trouble than it's worth sending it back.

Our 14 yr old grandson was delighted with this Christmas gift an has had a lot of fun with it as well as learning a lot.

i brought this as a gimmick gift for my boyfriend for christmas.
it was bigger than i anticipated.
we are all enjoying it,its quite theraputic.it sits on our desk near the computer,and you just cant help "playing" with it.
i`m pleased i brought this item.

This did exactly what you would expect from it and was a good price. I bought it as a gift and it was greatly appreciated.

I read all the reviews before choosing this one. It's not as sturdy or as stylish as the wooden one we had in the 70s, and the balls don't swing for very long - but I don't think anyone makes them like that any more. My son is pleased with it as a desktop toy. It arrived the next day, which was impressive. Thank you.

It was a present for my son and was broken It was to much trouble to send it back. I did by two the other one is fine.

one of the wires was broke it was a present for my grandson who has autsim he tryed to fix it him self i cant return it as he got rid of the box it came in

Very badly constructed and would not work. It was given as a gift and the recipient has complained direct to the supplier.

As a Christmas gift to a small but budding scientist it was terribly disappointing.

The clear 'fishing twine' upon which the spheres are suspended came with a few flaws. One of the strings snapped during gentle use. Otherwise product well enough made. Not however fit for purpose, I'll be contacting seller.

I bought this on the 22th of November and it arrived on the 2nd of December.
Today (10.12.12) I got it from the National Post of Greece.
Well, Newton's Crandle is
a really nice item to have on you desktop! Really fun!

!!! ATTENTION !!!

However when I received Newton's Crandle, it was extremely difficult to put
it together as the small ''cables'' were messed up (were entagled) and
it was to difficult to... disentangle them!!

In the end I was dissapointed from the messing up of the small cables,
which hold the... heavy balls!!! Also pay attention to them as they are
very, VERY fragile! One of them, did actually brake and I had to put it back,
using liquid- powerful glue (which was useless) and after that I used
scotch tape (which was still useless). I put it together, by using them
both at the same time... If something similar happens to you, PLEASE be
careful with it, as your mood will go down if one of the small and
fragile cables break!

To sum up, I think that any person who wishes to have it, MUST order it
as it is very educational and fun! Mothers or Fathers, Grandparents, aunts,
uncles or godfathers/mothers have to buy it, if their children like
Newton, Maths and other sciences like that!! However, even if you
don't like those sciences, that shouldn't let you down! If you like it,
buy it, as it's price is reasonble!!!

P.S.: If you want to buy it as a gift, I think you must be the
one to put it together.
