5.0 out of 5 stars Tai Chi, 12 Sep 2011
This review is from: This is Tai Chi: 50 Essential Questions and Answers (The Tai Chi Trilogy Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
An excellent introduction for all those about to dip their toe into the waters of this ancient art form. The author deals with a difficult subject in a personal and accessible way which enables even us novices to fully appreciate the beauty, grace and yes fun that can be had in practicing, doing and becoming part of something greater. With this useful and practical teaching tool I was even able to select the right class for me in my local town. Good stuff!!

I liked the format and the simple informational answers to the questions. I will defiantly buy another of the teapotmOnks books. The only reason way I did not give it a higher rating was because I wanted more questions and answers. There's always more in the Tai Chi world of learning. Why stop at 50? Thanks, Debbie J

An excellent ebook giving an introduction to Tai Chi and the movement meanings. Not a substitute for attending classes but definitely useful to enhance learning

5.0 out of 5 stars Everything you ever wanted to know about Tai Chi and we're too intimidated to ask., 12 Nov 2011
This review is from: This is Tai Chi: 50 Essential Questions and Answers (The Tai Chi Trilogy Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
Like thousands of others I'm sure, the first time I went along to a Tai Chi class I didn't have a clue what it was all about. If this sounds like you then this book could be just what you need. Paul Read cuts through the woo woo to deliver an entertaining and informative insight into what this ancient practice is all about and why as a citizen of the 21st century, you might want to take it up. Concise, practical and at a bargain price, it's not worth thinking twice before ordering it!
